I have only 9 days left until school and they still haven't given me a supplies list. And I have to read a book. That's really boring. And I don't know what it is.

I began 19th of August - but I ended earlier than my British peers so it wasn't like I wasn't getting compensated.

Installing insulation is aggravating! First, the rolls won't fit through the hole into my attic, then there's the heat, the dust and the itchies. It slows one's progress, having to change one's soaked-through shirt every half hour.

No, my wife stays downstairs to keep our kitten away from the ladder and the insulation--he'll try to play with the fiberglass insulation and can climb all the way to the top of the ladder. But as far as actually putting the stuff in is concerned, yes.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the roof trusses are a real pain to work around. Every picture you ever see of people installing insulation show them rolling it out/blowing it in with plenty of space to work with. Their paths and progress aren't blocked every two feet by a diagonal beam. I hate the people in those pictures.

Not as bad as in England. We broke up on something like the 22nd December and go back to school on the 4th January or something ridiculous.

Now this year I will be at university and end 12th December and go back on 11th January!

School started here the 20th... and the 12th one town over!

Last year our Xmas break was 20 dec. to 2 jan. talk about short. And our spring break then and now is consisting of three four-day-weekends, of which at least one will probably be cancelled due to snow...
