I never said that Gaelic was difficult to learn (but, oh man, it is). It's that learning Latin doesn't make it any easier. :)
Ah, but i haven't learned latin in the first place.
Guys guys, The "Let's bash the country full of ultra-nationalists who think they were the most important country in the past 2000+ years and currently rule the known universe" thread is that way -->
There's a thread for bashing Ingerland? Where?
I might have to pay to get my laptop repaired considering it's a part that snapped!
did you expect to have it repaired for free? :rolleyes:

That's why he was only slightly locked out it seems ;).

Wow stayin up this time wa not a good idea. Im very tired bed now

Once you know Latin, any western language is easier to learn!

English would not be part of that, since it is a Germanic Language, using a Latin Alphabet with Arabic numerals.

With heavy French and Graeco-Latin influence. :)

I think it's a startlingly rich and varied language, myself, but YMMV. :)

What do you mean English is not a Western language? It's not Eastern like Polish.

Recurring headache, I think over a week now.

You can enter your pasword, but it's different from walking into it. :)

No, you can enter it by jumping over the wall.

Maybe if you're Scottish, but most English people use the door. :)

You can walk into a room and it will not be different from entering it. I'm talking about the physical act of moving yourself into a room.

Or well, that's not really true, is it? I can think of one difference between those two things:

English -> Swedish (Germanic)
"To walk into a room" -> "Att gå in i ett rum"
"To enter a room" -> "Att gå in i ett rum"
Att gå = To walk

English -> Spanish (Latin)
"To enter a room" -> "Entrar en una habitación"
"To walk into a room" -> "Entrar en una habitación"
Entrar = To Enter

:)
