I received my worst grade of the term in the Principles of Fixed Instruments & Markets course and it was a 98. Thankfully so, since that take home final was running me ragged all weekend.
So my average for the course is a 99; the highest in the class.

I got my draft application from NBA league offices yesterday. I am being totally serious here...I've been trying to declare for the NBA draft for a while, and now I have the paperwork!
For those who might be curious, I'm not good enough to be a professional basketball player...this is really an elaborate joke. I was pretty surprised as to how simple the NBA Draft paperwork is.

Maybe 10, if you count players from Spain. If you put all of them on the same team, it could be a decent squad.
There are, to the best of my knowledge, only three Brazilians still playing in the NBA.

Great sunny day today, have the afternoon off (since I work and hour longer from monday to thursday, I get the ofternoon off on friday. Unless I'm behind schedule).
Only work to do is cut a small tree into pieces after which lounging in the sun in the garden with a beer and a smile is on the menu. And it's been a terrible busy week workwise, but I got all of it done it time, so I deserve it!
edit: And I just bough Peter F Hammilton's The Dreaming Void to keep me entertained.

I had a really nice talk with my best friend tonight. We haven't talked in a while since school has been pretty demanding and exhausting lately. Every day after classes were released I'd come home, go to bed, wake up in the middle of the night, do homework and study, and then go to school.
But, things are finally coming to close and graduation's in a couple of weeks.
And I got this really sweet book the other day and I finally have time to read it this weekend.
