Rave: I didn't have my Swedish lesson today!

Rant: That's because some nuthead sent my school some kind of a treat(not a bomb threat), and we(about 470 pupils) had to stay in the corridors and cafeteria for one and half hours.

I got BTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, why do you have two post counts Gandhi rules?

I love drinking... and I DON'T mean alcoholic drinks only, the word "drinking" has this strange connotation in European languages, but I just mean "ingesting liquids". I think that of all the people I know, I like most kinds of drinks. I can drink anything, and I do it with huge pleasure. From water, mineral water, juice, soda, beer, wine, etc!! Maybe my body is missing liquids or something, I don't know, but what I know is that basic things, like drinking water are simply a pleasure for me. :D :goodjob:

Everyone I know seems to only like/drink one/two kind(s) of drink(s)... I have no idea why, but I'm just the opposite of that.

I went back to SIU today to register for classes. I accomplished more than I originally thought, I may yet still graduate on time, unfortunately I have 21 credit hours next semester.

What kind of hell-spawn double-major/minor/whatever program would require you to take that many hours? Or did you make a late major switch?

I'm taking it easy next semester. 4 classes (13 hours) plus one or two TA positions. If it's too easy, I'll slap on another econ elective. :)

Architecture -> Finance in the middle of my second semester.

That's quite a switch! May I ask what prompted it?

Thanks!

I can't wait until January, when I'll be starting my Economics class  :scared:
:D

Be afraid. Be very afraid....

Nah, the worst that could happen is that you end up liking it. It's a whole new way of thinking.

I'll actually get to see my parents this Thanksgiving. Since money didn't come in, I reserved a trip this morning (and yes, pretty much all the better options were out or would have me stuck in Cincinnati, which I don't think I want to deal with this time around).

Amtraking it the whole way and moved up the dates. I'll miss Monday's classes, but oh well, can't be helped. I'll still be full when I return to New York since the train gets to Greensboro at 4 AM Friday morning. But, I upgraded to a roomette for this one. Don't know if it'll be shared with someone (obviously, I just reserved for myself, but having never done that, I don't know if they double-up single reservations), but either way.

Never would've pegged you as an architectural prodigy in the making. A man of many talents.

Architecture was a lot of fun in high school. The architecture program at SIUC is designed for on-campus students, I simply did not have the time, or the financial resources (constantly buying supplies for new projects) to sustain that as my major.

Yes, I am a modern day Renaissance Man.

Just get me a job in the investment banking once you're at the top and I'll push your new Renaissance.

And I got a refund check for $250. Unfortunately, it's in my father's name (but for me, from the university). But since I'll be there, it shouldn't be too long before I can claim that piece.

Oh and for a rave that I neglected to mention:

I actually met a real life Ron Paul fan. Happened during last night's class. Every sentence from her mouth contained a reference to Ron Paul. Too bad she can't vote for him in the primary!

Since independents in New York cannot sign up for one of the major party ballots on Primary Day....

But, all in all, interesting to know that Ron Paul fans are in the flesh and blood. Unlike everyone here that are just figments of my laptop's imagination. :p

I am personally impressed.
