I will soon reach level- er, age 17. In three days, actually. And four days after that, I graduate high school.

Oh, and I got a new car. My old '91 Taurus had a terrible transmission- in four months it had to be replaced three times. Totally replaced, no chance of salvaging. I have no idea what was wrong with it, so I got a new one. An '01 Mazda Protege, actually. :D

Still, life goes on, the girls are growing up nicely. The older one turned 7 last month and the little one is going on 5.
The days are long, but the years pass like the wind.

Well, I suppose I'll introduce myself. I am originally from New Jersey, but currently reside in Florida for school. I go to Full Sail University; you've probably never heard about it, but it is huge in the entertainment industry. I am majoring in Recording Arts, which to make clearer to everyone allows me to work in studios and record artists, or do sound for films, or sound design for video games, or other things as well. My school schedule is not a common one: I can have classes from anytime during the week except on Sundays (yes, it's possible for me to have classes at 3 am on a Saturday...). So when I'm not recording music or hanging out with friends, I usually can be found on here or xbox live playing Halo 3 (LOVE that game). I enjoy playing board games like Risk and Stratego, so that's why you'll find me in the RFMK series games or any Diplomacy games. Hanging out here playing them is a nice distraction from some of the stupid work I have to do, but all in all I'm having a good time with everything down here.
 
I have been posting since spring/summer '07, and registered to civfanatics since I think Pre-Civ3.

I am 25, soon to be 26. Originally from North Carolina, I now live in SE Georgia, US. -5GMT though its mostly -4GMT most of the year it seems.

I was surprised to discover that many of you are >20 years old, since most of you speak with a level of intelligence I would only expect from a small group of friends I had in high school.

I now work fulltime and have gone back to college parttime to MAYBE finally get a degree.
 
I am now 21, and drive full time for a long haul trucking company, which limits my time on the forums due to Wi-Fi hotspots.

About my age, I'm way past adept, and almost learned enough to be considered an archmage.

Hi everyone.

My name is Ollie, I'm 16 years old, I live in the Uk. My mum would flip if she knew I even gave out my name on the 'net so this is gonna be it for now lol.

I don't play civ very often anymore but when I do I only ever play Kael's awesome Fall from Heaven mod. I also occasionally play medieval 2 total war and Oblivion, but again not at all often. I come to this site for the forum games and occasionally NES'es when someone runs one I understand :p.

I love role-playing although I've never got into anything like Dungeons and Dragons or w/e its called :p. My favourite forum game atm is Diplomacy (all thanks to Izipo for introducing me to it. (blame him :p)) Right now I'm in Dip3, Erebus 2, NOTW XV, and NESLife which is apparently still going and I fully intend on bumping it untill Daft updates ;).

Backwards logic and Chile in Dip3, you guys probably see me as a complete bastard. But then you were stealing land rightfully mine.

Got to go now but I might add to this later on...
 
If you do avoid the Middle East for right now, if you don't I might end up killing you. :p
 
Are there any spaces? I've been lurking in that game for quite a while. I suppose I could sign up as a reserve?
 
We'd love to have you! Thomas, it's not that I want to keep Espanola an NPC, it's that I don't wont you merging with them. :P . Or, you might consider starting a new nation in a 'colonial' zone- right now only, like, Iceland would work, but another couple turns and I'm sure someone else will find something.

Consider being Sweden?

Cool. I think I'll wait a couple of turns then. Expect me to be a bit of a noob when I join though but d/w Im a quick learner ;)

Is there a map or something I cn have a look at? Some updates seem to have them and others not?
 
The maps are on the first page, along with all the current stats. Looking back on it, I wish I had used a distinct map per post so we could do an animation map or something for fun, but I just kept overwriting the same savefile so we only have the one map.
 
my age changes a lot, based on the theme. right now im the age of the song Paint it Black. Before that, the age of the Jaguars Franchise, and before that, the age of Israel (though I think I had some in between).

As for IRL, well I have had lots of birthdays (having 35 birthdays every 18 years makes you seem older than you are, and one DOES keep changing.)
