Dammit MN!!!! You posted the plan just as I guessed it right in a pm I sent!
 
Ilduce has the Russians. That's why MN negotiated with Peter and why they wanted Catherine so bad. She was their side of the deal. Ilduce wanted to marry her in order to keep her alive after the deal, but only so he could make the alliance last longer, not because he cared about her.
 
Apparently we MAY be able to imprison ilduce if we win his pathetic attempt at a revolution. He's getting foreign support from Russia but that's it. No truly loyal English or Christian man will support him in his greed and stupidity.

Honestly i'm annoyed at this move the most but if we get too lock ilduce up untill he stops being crazy afterwards i'm all for it.

finally a Either/Or option instead of this going around in circles. Either we win and ilduce stops being able to do rubbish. Or he wins and goes power man.

Whosit is talking with LH about how a Armed Revolution works and draftin a plan in support of the government. Obviously he's fully against his old friend ilduce now.

Mathnerd if you are willing to turn against ilduce now is the time to turn yourself in and/or raise an army for the government. Choose now.

If we are quick and get orders in soon this can be solved in a few days and real, sensible play can commence.
 
Note: I am trying to help organized the National forces. If you didn't get a PM from me, let me know. We need to coordinate what units are raised for the best chances of victory. Ilduce may not have English support, but he has foreign backing.

Edit: I need to change the plan based on new information, so don't send PMs to LH just yet!
 
Whosit - Can I send my info to LH yet? I'm supporting the Admin obviouslyish.

Second, what's the OSR now?

Russia is sending 4 legions. Also, LH warned us that the loser of an AR can start a Civil War. We need to make sure that a Civil War doesn't erupt afterwards.

Why the hell would a Civil War follow an Armed Revolution? They seem functionally identical to me.... Anyway, go ahead and send your unit. You may want to consider registering a Caravel, because we think the enemy may have a navy.

A civil war is not an AR. A civil war is when LH creates an entirely new nation that seceded from England during actual gameplay. It would be ai controlled.
 
No, I asked LH. He said that the losing side in an AR can start a Civil War if he wishes.

Also, in case anybody was wondering, we wanted Catherine so that we didn't anger Peter. He was sure to be really angry if he didn't get "his Cathy".

Snap. Ilduce have you lost whatever wits you had to begin with?! And now you are willing to swear fealty to PETER?!?!?!? YOU ARE SELLING OUT YOUR OWN COUNTRY TO RUSSIA!!

With that, I enact

EMERGENCY PROTOCOL 216

A. Martial Law is to be called for.

B. The People Consortorium of England is hereby declared a criminal organization, it's members are to be immediately arrested and held indefinitely. Their properties and assets are to be confiscated and given to the government. Extradition orders are to be sent to Germany for the return of ilduce's brother.

C. I hereby form the Taskforce to Restore Peace (TRP), to aid and augment our existing security forces. They will aid in enforcing the Emergency Protocol.

D. The HDO is relieved from their existing duties, and reassigned to hunt down ilduce, at all costs.

E. All ports are to be secured and locked down. All ships entering and leaving are to be searched. Enforcement will be aided by the TRP. Roadblocks are to be set up on all major roads to look for PCE members, and other people in rebellion against the goverment. Enforcement will be aided by the TRP.

F. ilduce349, having proved himself to have scant regard for the laws of the land and being in open rebellion against his duly elected goverment is a danger to society and menace to all proper Englishmen. He has aggravated this rebellion by siding with the Russians, even going as far as to swearing fealty to Peter himself. Therefore, let it be known that by executive order, the English citizenship of ilduce349 is hereby revoked. ilduce is hereby declared an enemy agent. All Englishmen are encouraged to do anything they can to apprehend this man.

I'd assume a loosing side could start a civil war IF they had backing. You see you say "start a civil war" but what that means is "get some cities to ceded from teh empire and start up a new nation." And what Arya quite aptly points out is WHICH CITIES? While the idea is workably. At the moment no one in england supports ilduce. So exactly which cities did he think would join him? Because at the moment i'm just imagining all the town mayors laughing him out of the city limits.

Also MN... I don't think you have the trust now to create a party on co-operation. No-one would trust you. You could allways join another party like the war party or create a new one yourself
