Yes... Plan. Well, I'm still waiting for ministers to get back to me; but right now it looks like a continuation of the current plan, except shifting troops over to the borders. Hmm. Oh yeah, and have we decided whether or not to preemptively declare war on Raganar yet? Because if I don't get any clear consensus/desent then I'm just going to stick it into the plan.

And LH... I've got a few ideas to run with you later.

At this point I'm just going to say go ahead with whatever we've got. We really need to get the next turn set played to get the game back on track.

Okay proposed plan:

1. Continue with basic outline of the first one.

2. Gather a stack of units and take Ireland.

3. Draft redcoats on the british isles until there are 3 in each city with a 3 unit reserve. Use these as an immediate defense.

4. Build 2 galleys, then when we get astronomy build 4 galleons.

5. Keep 8 units in our vassal Germany to be ready to respond to any threats.

6. Don't attack Ragnar yet.

7. Convert Carthage.

8. This is the vague version.

:closed/:Clearly, we need to reassess how our Espionage Points are being spent. That's kind of deplorable. The most striking piece of information is that we only have 2 Galleys. We could theoretically take New Horizons with 4 units, but we certainly need more transports. According to the image, at least, we are actually not at war with the Russians at the moment. Whether this is accurate, or simply due to LH not having triggered a war yet, I certainly couldn't say. However, if we are still at peaceful relations with Peter, we should use the time to build up our forces just a bit more, especially our navy. Steel, and then Astronomy, are the techs we need, but I suppose we can make due with Galleys a bit longer. But not too much longer.:/closed:

A note on drafting: I highly recommend against the plan to draft three units in each of our core cities. Keep in mind that each time you draft, you get 3 angry faces for 30 turns. Drafting multiple times in the same city is going to cause enormous economic damage. This is why we need to get the Globe Theatre built in Amsterdam. No unhappiness, and if we build enough farms, it can regrow lost population fast enough to draft every turn.

The draft is a powerful tool, but it must be used delicately, or we will destroy our empire.

The only reason I said to draft was I thought the situation was more desperate than it really is. I had thought there were nearly no troops in Britain, with a stack of 10 or so Russian units in Ireland. I also see our military has been overstated. We are definitely not ready for Ragnar. Plus why are we focusing on Hannibal in espionage?

:Closed: Yes I thought we had more troops. Whilst I am hesitant of drafting 3 units in the core a turn of drafting will bring us up to 17 (?) redcoats, which we can make a moderate stack with. I reckon 3 redcoats and a trebuchet should retake ireland, but we should build more troops before taking ragnar. Hopefully our current army could do some damage to whats left of russia; if we want to wait long enough before hitting ragnar. :closed:

Alright what's our goal? Mine is to take Ireland within 15 turns. We can build 1 more galley, and send 4 redcoats, and 2 siege weapons to take Ireland. Then we do a mass military buildup for 15 turns, then attack ragnar.

I think we should send 2 caravels into the Baltic to keep an eye on nidaros. Send the other 2 to the med to act as a warning to anyone who wants to attack us there.

@Arya- retake Ireland and as much land in russia/viking-land as possible ASAP is my goal. I'm hoping to expand quickly.
