You know, all of this is making me want to start my own Realpolitik. However, it'll need some spicing up to become interesting.

A few words of warning to any who are going to start their own realpolitik: Too many will ruin all.

At paradox, not may Realpolitks survived after the first one stopped. The first one was the popular one, but the rest, they were largely ignored. At least 5 have been attempted, including the first one. Only one other to my knowledge has ever even come close (in its case exceeded) the original. The rest failed due to lack of support. Over here the second one one (Ilduces) has already seemingly died. So lest be careful with the creating of new realpolitiks. I am going to create a new one, with a few twists to hopefully make it attractive. But lets not spam these AARs okay? Only so many people are interested in this stuff, and we cant play all of them at once.

Hey would anyone here be interested in joining a new realpolitik if i set it up? I was thinking of doing a russian one, but with a heavily modified earth that i modify myself. I just want around 6 or more parties, with a somewhat following or better for each. Then i would give some new powers, and slightly change LH's rules.

So it's just russia on a altered earth map?

I allways thought a new realpolitic would do best with perhaps a mod. The Rhyse and Fall one would be good but just had bad luck and timing. Also it would be easier for new people to come in to a civilization thats just starting so they can shape it themselves.

Two mods i thought might work would be the space one that comes with BTS or the Fall from Heaven 2 mod would be good for an epic fantasy version with Dragons and Vampires.

I do agree if one is started it should go slow to begin with to try and gain new players that arn't just communting from here.

@LH So is it now that people will get 1-2 events per term or that they will only get 1 per term I'd ask that we get the next one during the election like last time as a basis to show of why certain parties should run the country.

Well i play warlods so i cant use bts mods. I am going to attempt to use GEM mod for the size of the map. For what i have in mind, i need more space, particualarly in europe, then the regular earth 18 map. But i usually cant get mods to work, so we will see tomorow.

Getting to roleplay the Russains?!? Most likely going to join, unless something called RL comes up. But like you said, I would wait until this one ends, as one realpolitik, for me, is quite a lot to follow and keep up with, and two would be the limit for me I think. Although, if the game is on warlords, and we're the Russians... Cossack RUSH!

And spammy spam spam FTW. Want to get sure from this from LH, but about how many crisises/adminstration? And how many more turns of Arya?

Yeah im having trouble with the mod so either my grand map twist is doomed, or it will be a while before i can get to it. 7zip hates me.

And i have 15 more turns. I am waiting for the crisis he is going to give me before ending my plan.

I would wait until 1.74 comes out which should be soon as its nearing the end of the Beta. It also has xUPT so we could roleplay having frontlines but that's a topic for alter.

You should try the new Beta and RoM 2.92 to see if its still not working.

It's certainly going to be interesting if crises keep cropping up just when the administration is changing. Heh. But it's good news that Ragnar and Peter have decided not to smear us all over the continent. Yet. We still have to prepare ourselves so we can stand up to bullies in the future.

Okay, now i'm suspicious...

While a war against both of those powers would be bad, at least we would know where we stand and what to expect. The fact that they havn't attacked makes me wonder what they will do instead. The first rule of being a leader is to allways carry out your threats, otherwise people won't respect you.

I'm thinking we are going to get some secret sudden invasion force. Or perhaps they will attempt to bribe Ireland... I hope a attack force doesn't manage to sneak onto the British Isles... perhaps keep one axeman in London... just in case.

Either way Ayra has 15 more turns to play around with, i doubt this will effect his plans too much. We still need a diversified army and we can throw it at the barbs for practise.

This only allows some more time to play around diplomatically...

Personally i'd like to know how long the next Great Prophet will take to pop in London? Unless we force something else that will be our next Great Person and we can build our holy Shrine for some nice money to go with our religion.

Final Frontier! that was the name of the space age civilization mod. I figure sci-fi or fantasy are the ways to go if you want to create something completly different. Although Russia in RFC is fun for the ease at which you can shape yourself into an espionge superpower... meh. i'm too lazy to try to start up something myself.

Well ill send the plan over in a few minutes.

Meanwhile, i am trying to stop GEM from crashing. Everytime i try to enter WB using the GEM mod, the game crashes. I read it can crash since it doesnt have enough RAM, but i have 2 GB. That should be plenty.

I actually think that a Russia RP would be nice, just that I might not have time to devote to two of them...(I was thinking of starting one myself, but never got far on it)
