Oh. I expected to see a bunch of new posts.

Arya has a point, but I prefer not to give up physical gains for cosmetic reasons.

EDIT: LH has been on several times recently, but he hasn't posted. That's funny.

4 new pages, as its 4:30 where I am, I should probably go to sleep.

DO NOT MOVE THE CAPITAL:
1. it wont be england any more
2. the production required is not worth it

I might post more if I read, but any other key discussions right now?

Actually, thinking about it, does the mainland count as another continent or it part of the same one?

If its the former, we definitely have to move it to the mainland. If the latter, its fine in London.

That's because I have 3 narrative scenes submitted that I'm trying to sort out, a chapter in Gotterdammerung that needs writing, a brother(and me too) that wants to play SC2, Batman: Arkham Asylum calling my name - and I'm testing for my martial arts Blue Belt TODAY.

Wish me luck! I'll try to get some of this sorted when I get back.;)

Good luck! I got a red belt in karate before I quit (I don´t know why, I was too young). Also, I just noticed that you signed up on the same month that you started RP! (It was started on April 30th, I posted the first reply making the first party on 1st May - I thought it was going to be abandoned by July!).

Back On-Topic: Pics please.

Good luck! Though you won't need it. ;)

I did TKD and got, like, a Yellow Belt or something, then gave up.

Good luck! I did karate when i was younger, but didnt get past the yellow belt with the black stripe through it . I wasnt good at it.

Dom, werent you banned from here? Im just curious.

Why does it matter if its another continent? Palace doesnt give any bonuses to continents, and maintenence is determined by distance not continent. It depends on what you consider continent though. In geography/map terms, yes the british isles are part of the europe continen t. But if you define continent by landmass, like the great wall does, then no, the british isles are not part of the europe landmass.

I got up to black-tip in Tai-Kwon-Do before I stopped, but that was years and years ago, and I would certainly have to start over if I took it up again now. Oh well.

Anyway, Arya, I think people are bringing up the continent issue because, in BTS, you are often charged an extra maintenance fee for having cities on a different continent than your capital (colonial maintenance). A pretty poor addition to the game, in my opinion. This can be avoided by turning Vassals off, though. We can always ask LH to check the maintenance breakdown in our continental cities to see if a colonial fee is being charged and, if so, how much.

Good luck with the test, LH, but you don't get any SC II sympathy from me because I can't even play it until my broken computer is replaced! :gripe: Besides, you took on the responsibility of being our GM. Perhaps you didn't realize what was in store for you? :p

Quit about two years ago and got to second dan. School and stuff took over.

Even with the whole colony thing in BtS(weed on my part) moving the capital in hammer poor York is quite weird. Disregarding the whole "ENGLAND AIN'T ENGLAND IF IT ISN'T LONDON CAPITAL" thing, I suppose you would overflow into it via the whip, chop(assuming any forests, but I think no more in the area), and whip it out. But that would whip off cottages.

My stupid internet...

If 48 hours pass without me getting on, promote the Whosit, who is the VP, to Prez.

RL, RL, RL... :gripe:
