Ouch we are actually approaching nearly 400 pages... that's mind boggling.

I don't think it's a case of which party emphasises overseas expansion but how each party will do it. Once this eastern threat is dealt with we can expand peacefully or by warring with the small distant neighbours for their cities.

We can also expand capitalistically, maybe with independent colonies and free trade, or nationally with a pan-empire, perhaps with Communism.

PCE as the major Capitalist Party will probably push expansion in a different way to the IngSoc who are Communists or the Imperials who are Nationalist.

Personally I want a Pan-Empire in Euro-Asia with minor Colony Vassals in the Americas and Australia.

Although I'm sure some of the more war minded are cackling with glee over America being weaker then our own vassal. Easy Victim there eh?

Wait did the plan actually say what to do with our two great people? I know there was some difference of opinion as the Capitalists wanted to keep one or both for future Corporations...

Take for example my party - the PPP. We're currently focused on the idea of preparing for, and waging war on, Russia. The reason for this is that my in-character politician (Like myself IRL) is from Ireland. The Russians have invaded and occupied Ireland and as such my party (Which consists solely of myself) is very focused on liberating Ireland from the Russians.

But that's not that pragmatic! I think I'm the one that's stayed the most with their party's original outline.

He's got a point... retaking of Ireland isn't pragmatic. Although sheltering Khan the now displayed leader could be seen as that. I have wondered if that means we could supplant the Mongols somewhere new of our choosing. That's worth protecting.

Now that things are getting bigger these one person parties are starting to aggrieve me morally. I'll probably disband the Monks at some point and become an Independent. After the Norse war...

IngSoc is very much for overseas expansion! State Property enables huge intercontinental empires, you know!!

Personally, I just want to see us as the ultimate masters of Europe and the Mediterranean. However way we get there is fine. I would also like for us to become the dominant force in the old world as well. And maybe an empire in the Americas would be nice..

Also its true, PCE is much a pro-colonist state. As it the most pacifist way to get huge lands for income, and not to mention the fact that their is no rice or corn or silk or spice (or a couple other resources) in Europe...
