Don't attack LH. He's been providing excellent narrative updates and has handled things very well so far, especially given the endless pestering in PM's that ilduce and MN subjected him to. He's been far more calm than I would have been. I have no issue with LH and will continue to have no issue provided ilduce, and to a lesser extent MN, face sanctions when all this is over.

My issue is with ilduce and the idea that he can come out of this unpunished.
 
I don't think he can. but then again, I am not LH

Ok, now that I'm sobered up, I would like to announce:

1. No Armed Revolution. I'm outnumbered 20-1 and with the foreign legions 20-5. No AR. But I will keep sabotaging until you agree to drop all charges against me.

2. No suicide. What was I thinking?

Ilduce ML has been declared, and we have EP. I highly suggest you just turn yourself in. Otherwise we will report you to the mods. And have you banned from this thread. Right now I wouldn't go any worse than the next 2 elections in jail, with no OA or votes. But if you don't give up RIGHT NOW then the mods will get involved.
 
Gotta admit, like twinkle and Fargle have said there are only 3 options now.

1) Some kind of mechanic is installed that lets us, the players deal with ilduce. So far we have none and we've had to sit around with our thumbs up our ass because opposition actions exist without any way to fully stop them, we merely have ways to make them more difficult to succeed.
2) LH deals with ilduce himself, because his behaviour is getting even more trollish, especially as he didn't instantly apologise for all the spam posts and being drunk while posting.
3) People start quitting the game en-mass due to ilduce being allowed to run rampant and if one or 2 aren't implemented could cause the death of the game.

Honestly if the mods hadn't given up on policing this thread months ago ilduce would allready have received warnings.

Lets just call this pitiful attempt at a AR with no help an instant win for the government to save time and throw ilduce in jail. easy peasy lemon sqeezy as they used to say when i was a kid.
 
I agree with Twinkletoes, Fargle, and Ravus. If Ilduce isn't dealt with in some way, either by arrest in-game, or simple expulsion from the game entirely, then I'm not sure that this is something I want to continue. There has to be a way to deal with people who are no longer playing the game, but are here only to aggravate everyone else.

Ilduce . . . unless you accept Aysee's offer, it's a little late for that . . . I would let you take back accepting his offer or any drunken ramblings but . . . cancelling the AR is accepting Aysee's offer.

Fargle - I am tempted. Believe me I am. He point-blank told me a few days ago his objective from this entire madness was to become president so he could screw over England and end the game - all because he wasn't going to have time to play it soon. I almost kicked him right then. Maybe I should've. But I'm not unless he steps out of line again.
EDIT - Fargle - Your mobilized forces count as additions to the Republican Guards. You can PM me some general guidlines on what you think they should be if you want, or leave that to President Aysee or Whosit(who seems to be the de facto commander of the administration's defense).

Ilduce, this madness has gotten out of hand. Perhaps I'm late on the draw - I don't care. The administration may now imprison players and prevent them from using Opposition Actions at any time. However, this will cause major spikes in the OSR and could lead to consequences from NPC characters.

This is your only warning. Go crazy like this again, and I'll have to kick you. Tread lightly.

You'll have to PM it to me first. And bear in mind - if the GM has to look away and breathe slowly at any point in the narrative, it is vetoed.

<sigh> @All those who think I'm late with action against Ilduce - I try to run a middle path all the time. I had this problem at Summer Camp when I volunteered there - whenever even a steady troublemaker wanted me to listen I would. I don't think that's a bad thing, but here my inaction has apparently gotten out of hand. I'm sorry about that.

I'd ask everyone hold off on posting any actions for an hour or so while I write though. This is going to be very, very fun.

I would accept Aysee's offer, but I don't know what it is.

I am prepared to accept allegiance to England, but what would be the consequences of this? What would my punishment be. Until I know my punishment I can not accept or decline this offer. In any case, I am not doing the AR (LH, you said I could refute any posts I made last night in my drunken state). Even if you refuse to let me retract the AR. I am not pming you any units, and I am refusing Russian support, so if the AR is happening, my side has 0 units which means no damage can be done.
 
The deal is that you turn yourself in to be imprisoned for a minimum of one term. To be honest i'd say you stay locked up during the election too, that way the next president can be the one to decide to release you or not.

- Aysee seems to want a imprisonment of just his term...
- Arya wants an imprisonment of 2 terms seeing as he is hoping to get elected next and does NOT want to deal with you if he gets into power.
- I say indefinite imprisonment and each president can choose themselves when to release you thus meaning you COULD get released quickly if you showed good behaviour and convinced the current leader... or if you continued to be annoying you could end up locked up forever. More encouragement to actually take other people's opinions into account when you do things.

EDIT: Did you honestly think any sort of deal would be "say you will be good and we will believe you, we will let you be free and forget everything" ? No the deal is "Turn yourself in give up your abilities for a time untill you can be trusted with them"
 
You cannot set conditions. You cannot bargain. The only choice you have is whether or not you come peacefully. Peacefully giving yourself up MIGHT lessen your sentence, it might not. The point is you are in no position to bargain.
