We have learned of a Soviet supply depot in West Orange. They have begun using this facility to distribute food and other items to sympathizers in the region. Striking the depot could provide us with ample supplies to aid us in our war.

Watch the supply depot for a week, learning the schedules of the guards.

Hit this supply depot at 4 AM, when only a token guard will be awake protecting the depot. 6 regulars and 12 recruits will slip into the place at night, silently killing the guards and silencing them before alarms can be raised. Hopefully we can kill them all before they make noise and turn this into a protracted firefight. If it DOES turn into a firefight... well, that’s why we have assault rifles.

The Soviets are transporting some prisoners of war captured from fighting in the Dakotas. These are believed to be the remnants of the Minnesota National Guard, and are on their way to imprisonment in the city. Freeing them would provide us with experience soldiers for the fight.

We will ambush the soviets in the streets of urban New Jersey. Our IMVs will, driven by two recruits, block the streets in front and behind of the soviet convoy. Meanwhile, our people will have hidden on the roofs and in the rooms of the various buildings lining this street. We all know how tough street fighting is, and the advantage tends to the people hiding and striking from those hidden positions. After we’ve rescued the prisoners, see if we can claim the IMVs. IF we can, sell them to fund our operations. If we can’t, torch them. This mission will use our full force, armed with assault rifles.


(This likely won’t happen, but: If possible, have a couple people at street level, hidden, looking for an opportunity to sneak into the prison convoy to free the prisoners while we’re fighting, providing them with the means to help their own rescue.)

Missions:

Operation Badger: Send a force of 15x Veterans and 5x Regulars to attack the Soviet ammo dump. They will be armed with 1x HMG, 4x Carbines, and 15x Assault Rifles. Recon the site prior to attack, and aim to use the cover of darkness on our side. We'll set up the HMG in a position that offers it good cover, but provides the best line of sight on the enemy positions. The four men armed with carbines will likewise establish sniper over watch positions with clear line of sight on the compound at various points surrounding the ammo depot. We'll wait for night when the majority of the patrol should be sleeping (if they are on high alert at night delay day by day until their become complacent). We'll attempt to knife sentries to not blow our cover, but if our cover is blown we will proceed to commandeer the APCs before the enemy can figure out what exactly is going on and turn them against the Soviet forces. Afterwards, we'll load the APCs with as much ammo and personnel as we can and return to base. Again, as with all missions, our soldiers' faces will be covered/disguised.

Operation Weasel: Utilizing similar tactics as before, we'll attack the supply depot, only this time with all of our forces except for 4x Regulars armed with Assault Rifles to patrol/defend our camp. Our makeup for this attack will be 4x Regulars and 20x Veterans. We will utilize 1x HMG, how ever many APCs we were able to steal, 6x Carbines, and 13x Assault Rifles. We'll wait until dark again, and try to eliminate sentries and plant explosives on the tank. If our cover is blown our APCs, snipers, and HMGs will provide suppressing fire for our Assault Riflemen to eliminate the defenders. Once the site is cleared we'll load as many supplies as we can into the APCs and what ever IMVs we're able to salvage. If we can take the place by surprise again, strip the tank of all useful equipment, then blow it in place. Like the previous mission, our faces will be disguised.
