RebelNES

From: The Cardinal
To: All of those of Faith

His Holiness the Pope has made it know, that those of faith should unite to cast down the oppressor; whose foul hands are stained with the blood of numerous men and women of faith. It is therefore my belief that those of faith should form an alliance of faith, with the aim of liberating this country from heresy.

Unite sons and daughters of the Church against this foul evil which creeps into your homes at night and takes you from your bed!

Aye, lots of poor people on the island, weren't really able to donate much money this month.

Hmmmm.... Perhaps I will have remidey this money problem by other means...

To: Mayor of Isabella
From: Aaron Perez of El Movimiento de Libertad de Isla

We from El Movimiento de Libertad de Isla would like to say that we are not attacking your markets and buisnesses. It is the corrupt governement bullying your citizens for money and resources. Our soldiers offer to protect your shops and shoot any who attack them as proof that we are innocent.

We'd also like to invite you to El Movimiento de Libertad de Isla's base so that we may discuss future relations with Victoria.

From:Nueva Leon Nationalist Party
To:Government of Nueva Leon

The country of Nueva Leon is an unruly place. The best general wins battles without having to fight, thus, I'm offering my services to you, to protect Estacado from the various rebel factions that have bases around it. You will have the area pacified, at no cost to yourself.

Orders to come probably tomarrow.

To: Cardinal Lampara
From: Father Juan Gonzales

Surely, as the Pope had commanded, with the blessing of our Lord, we, the Filhos de Christo, the Children of Christ, will take part in this crusade against the Devil in these lands. However, if Your Eminence the Cardinal would permit, we, the Filhos, would like to continue our method of peaceful cleansing of the island of Victoria. We assure you, Your Eminence the Cardinal, we have made quite an improvement in leading the people, and even the beaurecrat, into the Lord's path. We do wish you success in doing His work in your diocese, and we will provide whatever aid we might, on the situations which may vary. Benedicamus Domino. Amen.

To: Mayor of Victoria
From: Father Juan Gonzales

We are glad to have made progress in our relationship, dear brother in Christ, through our last meeting. Surely, you have shown quite an enthusiasm for what we wish to do, and understandably, much skepticism, with all these rebellions arising throughout the country. But rest assured, for as Lord is our protector and shepherd, and as we do His work, we only wish to provide better service to the people on the island, protect the island from alien threat, and nothing more. As of last week, the soldiers, if you wish to call them that, were sent throughout the farmlands in order to lend helping hands to the farmers in the region, for hopefully, a better harvest this year, and Filhos have donated money to the city to promote welfare. To answer your doubts, of our, as you suspect, alterior motives, I will simply say this: let us unite under His name for the sake of these people and, to our best abilities, create a better world for them so that they may enjoy the joy of thanksgiving to the Lord.

@Ninja Dude: Uh... you mean Isabella? Victoria is pretty far from where you are.

To: All Factions
From: The Peoples Republic of Nueva Leon

It has become apparent that many factions are working in conjunction with the Fascist forces. I, Capitan Calisto De Vivero have but one thing to say to the leaders of any organisation that chooses to consort with the illegal government. I will hunt you down and kill you just like I will hunt down and kill the Fascist bastard that is in charge right now.

Faction: The Peoples Republic of Nueva Leon
Leader: Capitán Calisto De Vivero/TaylorFlame
Class: Ex-General
Credits: 250
Army: 100 Farmers, 250 Paramilitary, 10 APCs
Navy: none
Air Force: none
Structures: 1 camp
Government: Socialist Democracy
Base: East of Punta Gorda

Orders:

Increase the size, aggressiveness, frequency and proximity to the city of the patrols around Punta Gorda. Start to constrict the movement of Fascist forces in the area until they are afraid to leave the city due to the enemy presence.

Get the farmers that have been recruited to farm produce and sell it in Punta Gorda in order to make a profit, which will be used to outfit more recruits so they can join the coming Socialist Revolution.

Continue with the propaganda campaign in Punta Gorda and the surrounding villages. It is vital to get the support of the populace, as they will be the ones that overthrow the Fascist forces, the rebels will simply do the fighting.

Slip notes under the doors of every low ranking NLA soldier in Punta Gorda offering them the opportunity to join the PRNL and live, fighting for a good cause, instead of dying for an evil dictator.

Have the Paramilitary forces not on patrol start to dig tunnel networks that head into Punta Gorda, with entrance/exit points both in the jungle and in the houses of staunch supporters. Make sure this tunnel network stays hidden.

Have a pair of Paramilitants sneak into the NLA Barracks at 3am on a Monday morning. These two Paramilitants will attempt to lace the HQ with explosives. They will then locate a helicopter and commandeer it, destroying the HQ as they escape with the helicopter. An attack helicopter would be preferable, but if one cannot be found then a transport helicopter should be requisitioned.

Um bestshot where is the base I asked for in my orders?

@FII: Your people are searching and stuff, its just slow going through the jungle so they haven't made much ground, also got a bad dice roll so blame the dice, not me!

@BananaLee: Aye, your income and spending was about equal this turn (bribing the workers was the same amount as you received off of selling some crop, which wasn't much right now)

@Vertinari: Fixed, good catch, you guys will have to give me a little slack, as I've never done a NES with stats before, so I'm going to mess up a lot, and hope that you guys can catch it for me, which I'm sure you will ;)

Faction: Nueva Leon Union State (NLUS)
Leader: Alcazar Leon/carmen510
Class: Politician
Credits: 500
Army: 200 farmers, 100 militia, 200 paramilitary
Navy: none
Air Force: none

Government: Democratic Republic
Base: Bonita

Spoiler Orders :

Local Affairs:

1. Spend 300 credits on nationwide propaganda, via leaflets and other methods (See National Affairs)

2. Have all farmers sell extra crops and prepare food stores in case.

3. All militia shall guard farmers for protection.

4. 100 paramilitaries shall patrol the road of east of Bonita.

5. 50 paramilitaries shall guard the headquarters in Bonita.

6. 50 paramilitaries shall help patrol the east Bonita area and look for any signs of problematic non-government related violence and stop it. (Normal murders for instance)

7. 100 credits shall be used to help buy more fertilizers and seeds for our farmers.

8. Alcazar Leon shall walk around Bonita, and talk to the local people about problems. He will also hold a talk with any local protesters and try to convince them to join NLUS.

National Affairs:

1. Ask the government for access to the local media and permission to use newspapers for ads. (Access to radio and other such media, but not television)

2. Start sending envoys to Leon City and ask for government transport to Boca El Mar to drum up more support for the NLUS.

Foreign Affairs:

1. State that we require international donations to help fund a slow but dramatic democratization of Nueva Leon.

2. Send envoys with government transport to the Cabral Republic and the Republic of de Soto to drum up foreign support. They will give several propaganda speeches on how making NLUS better will make their lives better, which it will eventually. ;)

Another question for you bestshot. Was the report on the raids on Bonita refering to me and if it was should I not have a truck and five less men?

@FII: Your people are searching and stuff, its just slow going through the jungle so they haven't made much ground, also got a bad dice roll so blame the dice, not me!

Yeah it's perfectly understandable for them not to find anything; I was more referring to my farming and fishing efforts, and Andri's attempt to convince more people to join the cause.

Of course you can come with an escort. I had already assumed that you would bring one. None of the members of El Movimiento de Libertad de Isla wish to harm a single hair on your head. We will protect you with all of our resources while you visit our base.

Oh dang sorry, I must have skipped over it, trying to read orders sometimes I forget to double check stuff. I'll try not to let it happen again.
