I was wondering, im mates with this person from college and recently found out he, try to follow this lol, my mums sisters husbands brothers son. so does this make us related? if so what is it called? second cousins?
and no you're not related or at least there is no name for such a relation. At best perhaps you could call yourselves in-laws, but that term is usually only used for mother, father, brother, and sister in-laws and not for cousins-in-laws(if this term is even legitimate).
Your uncle's nephew is the closest thing I can come up with. It's not contradictory if you use it to mean your uncle's nephew on the other side of the family.

You're not blood related. You are related to the sister of your mother (your aunt). He is related to his father's brother (the husband) (his uncle).
What it does mean though is that any children of your aunt and his uncle will be blood related to both of you. On average sharing 1/8th of their genes with you (and also on average 1/8th with your friend). If this happened then these children will be your first cousins and also your friend's first cousins, but you and your friend are not related.
