Premier Brian Nastoia Murdered!
At 4am this morning Depute Premier Raoul Wallenberg announce the death of the Premier of the Republic.
The Depute Premier announced that his death was the result of an attack by an assassin who was allowed into the Presidential Palace of the Premier, by the Republican Guard.
The Premier was stabbed 17 times as he lay in his bed asleep, it was upon the Premiers death that Depute Premier Wallenburg arrested the assassin, it is expected that he will; if found guilty; be imprisoned for 3 to 6 years.
Depute Premier Wallenburg said the following:
"I am sure that I speak for the majority of the people of New England when I say that the assassin did us all a great favour by removing the tyrant from power" The Depute Premier is report to be barely able to contain his joy at reporting the Premiers death, "And I am sure that many would feel that the assassin deserved an accolade for his actions, I am one of them, but in any right thinking society murder can not be tolerated, lest we become like the Facists of Aztecea and the Socialist Empire, and New England needs a new beginning away from the Dictatorship which has gripped it; we need not mar this new beginning with toleration of our-right illegal and morally wrong things, even if they were done for the greater good"

Emergency Summit Held in Washington
Depute Premier Wallenburg held an emergency summit with the leaders of the New English Confederate rebellion at noon yesterday, to discuss ending the war and bringing the varying factions back together.
This paper has learned that Depute Premier Wallenburg plans to surrender control of the Republic to Thomas Jefferson, leader of the Confederates, when asked for a comment the Presidential Offices niether confirmed nor denied this.
The Depute Premier plans to make an announcement at 5 pm EST, on all radio bands.
Disease subsiding, Casualties Reported High
The chemical disease, now referred to as the Nastoia Virus, which spread throughout New England due to the extensive use of Chemical and Biological weapons during the civil war by both sides.
The hardest hit areas seem to be the Eastern Sea Board, most notably the New York area, which has become completely depopulated.
The disease is reported to be subsiding within the borders of New England, and those of us who were fortunate to survive the Virus have developed a natural immunity to the disease.
The National Insititute of Medical Sciences hopes to be able to harvest blood samples from willing new English citizens to attempt to create a cure, or at least a vaccine for this very deadly and fatal disease.
This paper would like to appluad the efforts of the insistute to save lives, and would encourage everyone to be cooperative with the Institute, the more blood they are able to collect the more likely they are to discover a cure, or create a vaccine; so get out there and donate blood.

New England Reunited!
Amid the backdrop of mass celebrations, to celebrate the death of the tyrant Premier and to celebrate the announcement of reunification that Depute Premier Wallenburg made 2 nights ago; the Depute Premier held the ceremony transferring power from himself to Consul Thomas Jefferson at the Gates of the Boston Council Chambers.
Consul Jefferson announced that General Darius, and Admiral Darius, would become head of the New English army and navy respectively, earning the decendants of the great Consul Darius promotions to Grand General, and Supreme Fleet Admiral.
He also announced that Depute Premier Wallenburg would become his Depute Consul, and that for the next four years there would be no elections within New England, and that the parties would be abolished and a Coalition Government would be put in place to guide New England in the transition back to Democracy.
"All affiliations and alliances that the tyrant Premier will be forsaken by the New Government" Consul Jefferson announced, "New England will re-evaluate its friendships"

Hurricane Barbara Strikes Carribean
Hurricane Barbara, a storm of 110 pmh winds, heavy rains, thunder and lighting, struck at the Carribean sea at 7 this morning, the deadly storm is reported to be sweeping northwards towards the Eastern coast of New England.
All citizens are advised to stay indoors.
Nastoia Virus spreads
The deadly virus created of the extensive use of chemical weapons in the New English civil war has spread across the Americas, the casualties are reported to be high.
The Sciences Institute has reported they have redoubled their efforts to find a cure for the disease.

-Use samples of blood from New English citizens to create vaccine or cure for the chemical virus.

-Begin quarantine measures in the north to try and stem the spread of the disease in the northern NEC, to try and maintain population there.
