France invades Germany! The French attack resulted in the same fate as the Russian and Roman advances, in a bloody stalemate. Rome has managed to advance slowly thanks to seige training but on most fronts has not advanced. Thanks to the heavy casulties on the German front, none of the involved nations has been able to increase its army's size.

French army invades the NHC from Argentina! Combined with the NEC invasion from the north the NHC has lost a good deal of land, but now holds them thanks to defensive postitions in the mountians and the Amazon Jungle. The NEC managed to destroy the NHC fleet but has casulties of almost 2-1 on their side.

Viking invasion of England successful! However, the war here has turned out to be even more of a stalemate than the German front, as the English have a larger army and are more easily supplied thanks to fighting on their homeland. In captured Viking territory the people are resisting against Viking occupation and making the Viking army feel like they are in a living hell. the Viking navy reigns supreme and have kept the English navy bottled up in their harbors. heavy casulties have prevented both sides' armies from growing.

NHC driven out of Spain's African colony! The Spainish have successful defeated the NHC army which went home afterward to fight the NEC and French.

You might have noticed that time just began moving 50 years instead of 100. This is the first such time change in the NES.

The bloody war with Germany dragged on. Thousands of troops were lost in every seige. But the casulties were lighter now and in the central theater a major Roman victory took place. The German stronghold of Schwarz Hund had been captured in 47 AD giving the Empirelist party a new platform against the Germans and had proof of Roman superiority.

The battle was long and hard. It was a 3 year seige. It was expected to take twice as long but with the better seige tactics it went faster. The catapults did their work at first. But the german calvary launched a sudden attack destroying the catapults. No new ones would arrive for a year. Thats how spread out the Romans were.

The archers fought each other daily. The occasional rams were destroyed after coming close to taking the castle. In 45 AD the Germans launched a counter attack. The field was red for five straight days. Thousands died in that time. The Romans took back the field a few months latter and the seige continued.

Finally on March 11, 47 AD the fortress fell. After attacks, charges, counter attacks, it was all over. Nearly the whole fortress was destroyed. It would take at least a year to rebuild it. The war was like this. An army would take a fortress, then the enemy would take it back later. It was a bloody stalemate. The battle of Schwarz Hund was the turning point of that. Just a year later 3 nearby castles were conqured. The Germans were losing ground. It was the time to strike.

Rome, Italia-

Back in Rome the empirelist party took advantage of their recent winnings and gained support. By the end of the elections they were still in control.

Now the great war ended, and china could ones again grow and be better. The goverment have desided to continue settle more islands and areas (MAR, KAM, YUK) and shipe were sented to find more areas to settle... (i'll continue later)

If the NHC is still on my land then use half the army to fight what's left (The army is gone) and secure the land while the other half trains for landings
