That makes 30 or so turns now. So far we have had many players and are getting more every week or so. Eventually i am going to run out of colors on the map.
I should also mention that my random events have no mercy on those who have left my NES. OF course after you have a good deal of "bad luck" i have mercy on you.

Aborigine Empire arises in Austrailia covering the entire continent. (stats on Page one). They have just recently made contact with a Indian warship and are learned to be in the Classical Age.
Privateer navy sinks a large portion of the Spainish fleet! A fleet of pirates of unknown orgin has just sunk the Spainish fleet protecting the South American colony. With it a good deal of settlers went to the bottom of the ocean.
Argentinan tribes join France! Impressed with the French nation, the tribes of Argentina have banded together and joined the French nation increasing the army level of France not to mention a good deal of land.
Phony war continues along the Indian-Chineese border as both sides wait for word of a cease fire. BEcause of this phony war and China's requests the Japaneese and Mongolians have gone home.

The head of the Aborigine Nation-States, Minister Djjibi II, was not happy. The Aborigine Empire had grown, unknown for many years, carved out a way of life in Australia. They had built up their military strength, hoping to expand to the islands around them. They had felt that they were the strongest of all the tribes of the world, and they were gravely mistaken. The Indian ship proved to be a tenfold more advanced than anything the Aborigines had. They had found out some information about the outside world, and realized that they were relegated to a small corner of the massive world.
He sighed and finished his message to the Indian ruler.

The senate had just gone through it's decade elections(Once every 10 years the senate would be voted on). The militant party came on top and the Pax Romana and Tommarow party had been shoved aside by the third new party formed by the african colonies. The Africa party was popular in Africa and had won all elections for legislature and govenors in the colonies and Algeria. The senate was no acception as Africans showed their support in the elections. Other people also voted for them because they were pro-sea/pro-navel. the new numbers were

The militants first desire was a bi-partisan with the African party on the matters of navy and African parties. This plan worked but the commercial party also gained their support for increased trade and internal developments.
Even the combined powers of the other 4 parties the militants could out vote them on any matter. As a result many people demanded a reelection. This demand was ignored. But one thing was for sure. The recent death of the last emepror a year from the election gave the commercial party an edge on that field. But this would not last since an emeror was elected every 5 years after an election. So they would have control for only 5 more years.
The first century of the 4th millenia would be dependent on the first decade. Every descison afterwards would be decided on the 20th senate. If by the next election the commercials took power again they would not be able to reversde the build up of any military power or reverse any war. The future of Rome laid in the hands of militants.
*African Colony*
Suddenly a black man on a horse rode up to a Frontier Fort. He had a message to the capital of Rome. This man said he was from the Zulu empire. And his report told of an empire that streached as far down to the African tip. How could that be so? The Zulu were believed to be a regional tribe. occuping the same amount of land as the Roman colony and now double that size after the english colony was given to them.
*Rome*
The message was recieved about 6 months after the election. The first reaction by the Senate was to forget about it, but a young Senator from Algeria said they should check it out.
*African coast*-7 Months later
A caravel skimmed across the water they had already been in three Zulu ports and it seemed the case was true. They were only half way to the tip of Africa and every Zulu ship they encountered and every port they were in said the Zulu lasted all the way to the tip.
*Rome*-5 Months later
The Senate had recived word of the Zulu's truth. After a year and a half the Zulu's message would finally be debated on. The African colonies were importent. Thousands of citizens came from there and gems and gold were shipped back to Rome from the colony. It was something the Romans couldn't lose. The backwards Zulu also didn't have the technological advances the Romans had and wanted those. Rome couldn't give away such an advantage.
In return the Zulu would become a catholic nation. Why did the Senate care. Thjey were for Rome and not the catholic empire. For that they would have to talk to spain. Perhaps they thought Rome still held the Pope position. Only 20 Senators were die hard Catholics and even some of thm opposed the treaty. Perhaps if this was 100 years earlier it would be a diffrent case.
After a 12-108 vote the treaty was dismised and a message would be sent back to the Zulu. The militant party also expected a negative reaction from the Zulu and they wanted to increase mkilitary size. It was decided the Navy would have to be expanded to supply the colonies in any war.
Meanwhile after a vote of 70-50 the expansion into Africa would be continued and Algeria would be expanded.

Expand into MAI from Algeria and African colony
Send extra troops to The African Colony incase of Zulu attack

Unfortunettly Rome has no large need to expand the Catholic faith. For that you would need to talk to the pope from spain. We will not give up our African colony and will not give you any of our technology. We have seen you aggresive power for expansion and are not willing to give anything to a war monging country.
To Spain:
There may be a country called the Zulu asking to be Catholic in return for Dark Age technology. I would re3commend not giving it to them because of their high aggresion. But you may do as you wish on this matter.

England has repeatedly ignored VikingLands messages. The Prime Minister has grown tired of trying to get them to listen.
Germany has also ignored us.

The navy had been shamed by its size and its losses in battle and a new admiral had learned the tactics of the pirates and had trained a new fleet to deal with boarding and fast speedy ships. Also a big effort would be made to increase the Africa colony to make sure the Zulus have less land then they would.
