I gave Spain my vote in the papal elections and helped Rome in a Crusade against Russia and this is how I am re-payed?! You attack me in an unprovoked assault?!
I am disgusted and am resigning from the so-called "Catholic Powers Alliance"; I find it atrocious that you would rather support a bunch of revolutionaires and side with a nation that has already defied the orders of the Pope the head of our religion!!!
Let it be known that Germany will fight to the death to protect its freedom and soveriegnty.

- Send 2/3rds of the Army to combat the advancing Roman army

Today the chines govement, exapt for all the settlengis (they still should be done first!) desided to declear war on egypt, and help india in their front! the govement also asked help from the arabs, that the chines army could enter from the south too. a defending great army have been sented by many ships to alska, if the english will attack...
and most of the navy have been sent to the red-sea to kill the egyptian much bigger navy, with good japanies taktics that have been learned...

Those of you whose navies were supposed to be upgraded, You lost them in combat.
Imsw, you sent a army to the Azores, no? They would have had to be on ships, no? Those ships took place in the battle and were lost. The battle of Bristol is a misleading name i admit. The battle took place more of in between the Azores and Great Britain.
evylewarleader, your navy also was at the battle mainly because you had them on defense correct? Defending would involve destroying the enemy fleet right? So they were there. since you updated your navy at the same time it was defeated you only lost one level which along with growing a level the turn before would look like this:
1+1-2+1
That math right there shows how you have gained and lost levels in navy.
SKILORD, you had given orders to go north then back South toward Britian. These were followed and resulted in the destruction of your fleet.

Germany joined the enemy. Egypt and the Zulu had invaded Roman land. Atleast Rome could still count on his true friends, France and Spain.
The Armies were being stalled and would need support. Rome's forces were spread to thin. Hopefully Russia and India could ease some Egyptian forces on his borders. France, Spain and Russia would have to deal with Germany. Rome would have to deal with Egypt.
The army would need to be increased in size. People then began to be drafted left and right. Anyone over 16 would be enrolled. No one was exempt except women and slaves. The rich the poor, anyone. If you couldn't pay for your own armor the government would provide yiou with it otherwise the rich were forced to pay for it. The amount of workshops and weaponsmiths increased. Women began working here. Tons upon tons of weapons and armor was made.

1/3 to Algeria(= to small)
1/3 to Germany(= to small)
Evacuate remaining forces in African colony to Spainish colony. From there travel to Algeria(This is so they don't have to travel far by ship and the possibility to be sunk.)
The navy will provide cover and transport the evacuation.

The crusade was over 1000 years ago. People and nations change. It is not as the crusade was only a decade ago. Russia has become better. They have become a Roman ally not enemy.

Of coarse if a religous party took control of the senate then of corse religon would rule my country but that it way it is a Republic and not a theocracy.
