(RFC) The Mongol Horde

So, what are the Mongols going to go for next? Have a nice little peaceful empire? Head to Europe? Have dreams of owning the entire world?

wow, as expected England looks like a economic behemot... :p
and what's this? Russia is a monster!

(lol to Arabia bordering Russia)

The Plan so far is to form a new Mongolian Empire that spans Asia with most of my power being in India. Once that happens, I'll decide who my next target should be...

I know :( I'm not a fan of a giant Russia bordering Mongolia. At some point that need to be put into their rightful place as vassals to the Mongols :king:

choose.... AMERICA!! :mwaha: get those allies!

choose.... AMERICA!! :mwaha: get those allies!

That would be a challenge to say the least  but there's nothing too difficult for the Great Khan

a completly empty europe?

Pretty sure that's going to kill your stability and the Mongols already have a terrible stability map.

congrats on the win, I regret not following this from the begining

finally a RFC Mongolian story :D
will be following it, hope you get to Hungary~ like IRL (damn RFC wrong stability maps!)

inspired me to finally start a Mongolia game :D

EDIT : already "ended" my Mongolia game
year 1505, tried converting to catholic recently to maybe get some deals with Isabella, anyway, this wouldn't help me, i tried to rush for the 12% of the world UHV when i saw i was already at 1450  before 1450 i only owned my capital + 2 cities to the north (near the iron and gold) + china + khmer as vassals
my stability was quickly growing and i had a solid economy before my rush, if only i started it earlier i would've invaded Russia for good (i had a awesome general unit with that exp+ promotion and all the strengh ones, the other keshiks of his army were like strengh IV~)
but yea, i saw it was 1505, with 9.97% of the world in my control, if only i started at like 1400 my whipped pagan temples could've helped the territory, then razing some noob cities would be easy, i already had 3 or 4 razed cities...

Wow, you look like Mongolia in 1230 ad...

Just a spoiler. I've played way into the future compared to my last update. All I can say is this: Wait till you see what the Empire has done!

The Mongols are tired of watching their rich, sophisticated cousins, the Mughals, receive all the glory for having a vibrant civilization. It's time Mongolia expanded to match the grandeur of the Mughals!

In the last report, Beijing was razed! This triggers the Mongol ability of having nearby cities revolt and join the Mongols. So, after keshiks moved next to these nearby cities, they'll flipped to Mongol control in 1808.

At the same time, Arabia has been waiting to forcefully bring the Mughals back under the banner of Dar-al Islam. They waste no time in sending troops over the Indus river to invade Northwestern India.

These forces are quickly dispersed using superior Mongol Keshiks (all of which have three to four promotions from so much action during the glory days of the Mongolian Empire). However, a much larger and superior force arrives in 1820, and the Mughals quickly seeks peace to avoid losing the Mughal's precious army.

Just for everyone's knowledge, the forces in Delhi are not the Mughal army. That army had moves to attack Merv, and the Arabian army outflanked it and moved into India instead. So, the Mughals received a peace treaty by giving up a world map.

On the Mongolian front, Fushan fell after years of siege in 1823.

In 1829, Peace is secured with the Khmer. They have long been the rivals of the Mughals, so soon they must bend to Mughal strength. How are the Mughals to be the overlords of Asia if the Khmer resist?

After years of further development, the entire army of the Mughals and Mongols is modernized using European technology. Using the entire treasury, all units were upgraded to riflemen and cavalry in 1849.

The Mongols have proven themselves equals of the Mughal court in India. They have carved out a magnificent empire in the North that will greatly aid in the conquest of Asia. For that is the ultimate goal of the Mughals and the Mongols: to rule all of Asia, subjugate Africa, and raze Europe. The Empire is still split between the Mongols to the north and the Mughals to the south. They must work toward uniting the two realms. To the East, the Mughals must subjugate the last of the East Asian civilizations that could pose a threat the Mongol dominance. May the Japanese and the Khmer bend down on one knee to their Mongol lords!

For tomorrow's chapter: East Asia Subjugated!

The only way the Mongols and Mughals will become great powers again is if they can expand west toward Europe and the Middle East. However, they can't do that if they have to constantly watch for the Khmer and the Japanese on the other side of the world. They must subjugated!

1868- A Study comes out that says the Mongol Empire is the third largest Empire in the world.

At this point, I have more techs than Russia and most mid power civs. The Europeans are still beating me, but their lead is only by one or two techs. For the most part I'm now caught up.

Preparing for the day when Mongolia and the Mughal Empire will be connected once again, the Mongols found Karamay on the ruins of the old city in Central Asia.

In 1880 The empire changes its civics. The Empire needs to emphasize the military if the Empire is to expand. I don't have all the necesary to techs I want for all my civics, but this change comes close to representing how the Empire will be run.

In 1888 a great engineer appears in Patna, and the Olympic Park is finished the next year to produce another Golden Age. How appropriate. This marks a new beginning for the Empire.

Finally, after years of diplomatic bullying, the Khmer give up their independence and ask to become a vassal of the Empire. I thought about conquering them, but that would only hurt my stability and that would distract from the goal of reuniting the realms. Vassalizing keeps my eastern Flank safe from attack, which is the most important thing. Next up, after gifting money, helping in random wars against europeans and even paying the japanese tribute, they agree to open borders with me and sign a defensive pact with me. Now, all of East Asia is safe and united against any threat that could challenge the growing might of the empire.

On a side note, the Mongol Empire now has the top score! Russia has collapsed and The Mongols are now the tech leaders (only by one tech though). We are in a prime position for conquest.

Mongol Armies move east now to prepare for a war. Mughal Armies move to the Indus to prepare for any threat. The only way to unite the realms is to conquer Arabia. The troops have been waiting centuries to take revenge on the Arabians for what they did to Ghengis Khan's empire. They are preparing. They are waiting. They want blood. They want conquest.

For tomorrow's chapter: The Arabs Fall from Grace!

got to love Khmer and their random cities.
have you thought of updating your rfc version?
