(RFC) The Mongol Horde

Loved it Genghis Khan, almost historical borders, just needed some more to the west in Europe :)

anyway, move your capital to Delhi (nice thing that Timur was here in Delhi conquest...) and rename your empire to Mughal Empire :D

I always have problems with stability  Maybe I'll collapse again lol.

But, I agree with everyone, I think changing my capital to Delhi would be a great option. Until tomorrow then.

Once you change your capital you can give let the independents capture Karakaroum so you'll really be the Mughal Empire. Though I wonder what would happen if India respawns.

I thought about it, but that would have horrible implications for my stability. I'm mostly settling in red stability area, most of my cities are occupied cities, etc. If I lose my core area I am just asking to collapse again. I think I may change the capital, but Kharakorum still has its uses.

Mughal troops advance both west and east to capture the last independent Indian cities in India.

After a fierce battle in near Patna, Mongolian troops emerge victorious and lay siege to the city. In 1535, I finish researching alphabet and trade it to the Khmer for 50 gold and literature. Hopefully I can continue trading for techs so I can catch up to rest of the world. At least I can keep my research slider on 100%.

After years of skirmishing, Mumbai falls in 1560.

The siege at Patna has slowly eroded Mughal troops through attrition and are quickly reinforced by soldiers fresh from the campaign against Mumbai. With these reinforcements, Patna falls in 1570.

The Capture of Patna has ensured the financial stability of the empire. The two shrines there give Mughal leaders like Babur all the wealth they need to continue with expansion and will allow the research slider to always stay at 100% and allow for a surplus.

Using a settler that was brought with the main army, The Mughals settle Erdenet in eastern India. Northern India is now under Mughal rule!

The Mughal empire converts to Islam to please Saladin. Hopefully this will allow for fruitful alliances and favors in the future with the other Islamic states. It's time the Mughal empire grows, builds, and forms a new core area of Mongol Strength. Once the economy picks up and more research is done, the world will tremble once more at Mongol might!

For tomorrow's chapter: The Mughal Empire Expands South!

Great story!:goodjob:

I never thought of recreating the Mughal Empire with Mongols, but now I have try it.

my wish, she has been granted!
all hail the all-blessed Sultan Icaria Khan!

One hundred years pass after the founding of Erdenet. Mughal cities have been focusing on building libraries, harbors, and courthouses. By focusing on research buildings I am slowly catching up in techs, although I'm still very far behind. But now, the empire has grown strong enough to expand south.

In 1670, Gao is founded on the western coast of India.

Now, Delhi is calling up Muslim missionaries to make sure that Islam is the one religion that unites the peninsula. To the surprise of the Mughal court, a list was published that said that the Mughal Empire was the fourth largest civilization in the world.

The Mughal Empire is boxed in on the Indian subcontinent. Jungles block expansion to the east, and a resurgent Arabia blocks any moves west. Arabia is unstable, so with time the Mughal Empire could take advantage of an Arabian collapse and move into Persia. Until that happens, the Mughals must look across the wide steppes to their northern Mongolian cousins still ruling the ancient city of Kharakorum to expand Mongol Power. The East has not seen the terrifying power of the Mongols in centuries. It's time to remind them what their ancestors learned the hard way.

For tomorrow's chapter: Mongolia Rises from the Ashes!

It should be Goa. Gao is a city in Africa. You can change the name by changing the player details.

sorry guys, I must have misspelled it when I was changing the name of the city. It's too late to correct it for a few more updates, but I'll change that as soon as possible. I can't believe I did that

If you're changing names then make it historical. Mumbai to Surat (the most important Mughal port city), Goa to either Ahmednagar or Bijapur, two Deccan Sultanates that were conquered by the Mughals, Testerlerg to Hyderabad which is of course an important city, Baraun Urut to Kozhikode (Calicut).
