Rhye's of Civilization - the fastest loading mod Expanded - PART II

BTW the Atari folder is only in the Program Data. It is just an artifact of how the game was originally package many years back. I no longer have mine in the folders it was installed into. I made a new folder in Program Data and called it Civ.

I moved what I wanted into it, CAII and other thigns, so I can find all the civ apps at once and did not bring along the things link uninstall and any links to webs.

All of the thigns I mentioned are only if you have installed as admin. If not, then things are shoved into the User folder in several places, especially the saves.

hmmm the funny thing is that my roc is installed to inforgrams/civ3/conquests/scenarios and i know all this but i still dont understand why my labels are all over the place? i really appreciate your help but ive installed the patch to conquests to 1.22 and reinstalled and everything but unfortunately build barricade has now replaced new game and the industrial era labels are half the screen down and all the preferences boxes are shifted down one so i have to click the one above to get the one below. any ideas?

"No, it is a C3C or Conquests mod. The "installer" creates a Conquests folder in your "vanilla" civ3 main file. Move the Rhye's content from this new place to the scenarios folder in your main Conquests file. It might work differently with a Complete but in any case it has to end up in an original scenarios folder."

if the conquests folder is not a folder in the vanilla folder where is it? because conquests always installs in the civ 3 folder, so where is the "main conquests file" where ure saying i should move the ROC files to FROM the conquests folder in the civ3 folder?

My Conquests is loaded into my WINNT as when installed it gives a choice of installation. It is not installed on top of Civilization. What vxma says applies so I suggest that if you have Conquests as a separate disc you install it not on top of Civilization. This will allow you to see that indeed there are three different "scenarios" folders, one for each-vanilla,PTW,and Conquests. The buggy title screen will show when you use a mod in the wrong place. A .bic ,.bix, and .biq respective. If you Prefer the way you have it you will want to look into those files and you wil note that you have .../Conquests/scenarios/Conquests/scenarios/Rhye's... it is a layer thing. You need it two back in the chain.

whats winnt? thanks but i already said that its already two back in the chain. ill try reinstalling them in seperate folders and see what happens :D

Oops!-that is my old guy memory, indeed it is Conquests that doesn't give you a choice but it is the clue! If you install Vanilla to :/ you will have them where Rhye's can access units etc. from all three releases.

OK first install civ III to where C3C will be installed. Then install C3C (but not on top of civ III), then patch it(C3C) to 1.22, then install Rhye's and move it back to Conquests/scenarios. It should work.:hmm:

i already told you

1. i cant install c3c anywhere other than in civ3 because it doesnt give me a choice

2. Rhys doesn't go in a sub sub folder it installs into conquests/scenarios

But the problems still there so im struggling. its annoying i cant set the victory conditions at all =[

:/ is where Conquests installs on your machine or a drive. location C:/ is common. My Windows 2000 experiences an install to C:/WINNT/Conquests. You can install it first just put Civ III in the same place (as well as PTW). Run searches for civilization and for infogrammes after normal unistall. Also check add/remove programs.

Hello, friends and fans of CIV III! I have one problem(bug) with this wonderful mod. Cursed town! Whatever you build in this town your culture points don't growing! I destroyed this city one time and builded it again with new settler , but still don't growing! Here is picture:

@Livingreznor-Well upload a copy of your file structure(before and after installs)(which I can't do myself!), oh and which OS are you using? Hey, Rhye any other suggestions?

Your screenshot shows that there are two different civs/nations inside the city. As long as you don`t have the majority inside the city ,the culture doesn`t grow.
In other words the AI thinks that you didn`t possess the city at all.

Solution : A third population ,means a city size of three is needed.

Somehow that city might get destroyed by an Eruption.
