True, it is much nicer to be disappointed but get it over with than to be disappointed and confused while having to check for updates all day@Shug2k By the way, telling us that the First Look is delayed and why; this is good communication. Thank you.
Yeah, you can see in Quill's stream - he's in a dark age, but given that there's nobody near him, he has no loyalty issues. Maybe just throwing in -25% science/culture/faith? Or give each city something like -2 amenities?
Yeah, + i think they need to make Dark Age policies mandatory. It is weird that you can disregard them altogether.Yeah, you can see in Quill's stream - he's in a dark age, but given that there's nobody near him, he has no loyalty issues. It will replace the water park, and since the water park is just the amusement park only on water, it would be odd to have Brazil's UD only replace one of them. Not seeing the point of the Copacabana addition. It's just a copy n' paste of the Street Carnival and makes Brazil unique in that it's the only civ to have 2 UI.

I disagree. The Water Park is still a district of its own, with its own bonuses (I believe Firaxis mentioned it won't be completely identical). It will replace the water park, and since the water park is just the amusement park only on water, it would be odd to have Brazil's UD only replace one of them.
How exactly would Brazil be shafted by this? The Water Park isn't stronger than the Street Carnival. The Water Park is essentially a variation on the Entertainment District. The point, then, is so that Brazil doesn't get shafted.
Hi everyone, because previews are dropping today, we're pushing our teasers and reveals forward by a day. So hang tight until tomorrow when we'll have a sneak peak of the new leader and Wednesday when we'll reveal them. In the meantime, check out the previews!
The only difference is that the water park will have a range of 9 tiles, under every other aspect, they are completely identical, serve the same purposes and since brazil gets a better amenity district, it makes complete sense to me to have that bonus be complete, and not working only on land.I disagree. They/them is also used when the gender is not known (or in this case, not to be revealed).Interesting the he used “leader” singular but for his object he used the plural pronoun “them”
Maybe a Freudian slip or a simple typo; but two leaders this week would make sense.

The buildings are identical too? If so, that's disappointing. The only difference is that the water park will have a range of 9 tiles, under every other aspect, they are completely identical, serve the same purposes and since brazil gets a better amenity district, it makes complete sense to me to have that bonus be complete, and not working only on land.

They are different buildings with presumably the same effect: Ferris Wheel, Aquarium and Swimming Pool (?). The whole purpose of the district is to provide Amenities, so it's not surprising that that is all the buildings do.
Brazil is, therefore, the only civ to have two exclusive infrastructures.![]()
