Pretty sure they said in one of the livestreams that there's a new mission that does that. It doesn't kill the governor, but it goes back in the unassigned pool.

I can't really see them choosing him - why have Scotland at all if you are going to choose a King who was also King of England? Also, perhaps someone better informed can enlighten me but isn't he mostly famous for having a Bible named after him, being particularly right-on about witchcraft and not getting blown up?

I'm sure Scotland will have a medieval ruler. Hopefully Robert the Bruce and not William Wallace (or MQoS) but very likely not James VI/I either.

Yup he mentioned playing something today. He can't say what it is. Unfortunately I'm still at work, and I still don't know how to watch a Twitch stream at a later time. Especially problematic when other people are streaming on his channel after him.

Unlikely, it's just days until final release. I'm optimistic maybe they had some kind of electricity shortage, or internet-cable-eaten-by-mouse stuff.. anything that hinder them from uploading at 22:00 PM (my time) sharp.
