Since I visited the Arch in real life, I could see how it can be considered "impassable". There's always the danger of slipping and falling down the hill that it's on.
Yup, the arch is on a hill, and the terrain is hilly and mountainous to begin with. It's still beautiful. It really makes me want to get back to Arches this year. I'm sure they have their reasons for making all these wonders impassible. They don't want warfare to interfere with them. Of course you could always detonate a nuke on them, which would have no effect. LOL>
