Rise of Europe: Scandinavia (Dec 13, 2008)

Hi Sandris,

I try not to make requests regarding already made units (and this is a bit ironic, as I know I asked for civ-colored units when you first started blessing us with your work) but, in this case, as Sweden's colors are blue and yellow, would a non-civ-colored version of a few of these puppies be possible?

Best,

Oz

Another beautiful set!

Two questions:

1) Why a Dark Ages Axeman and Berserk? They look veritably the same, save the Berserk having fur rather than armour. Any suggestions as to how to incorporate them both into the game stat wise?

2) Why is this set only in 'paper doll' size? I realize that it allows more detail, but aren't the rest of your sets in 'civ-size' or at least have an option?

Looking forward to Germany!!! :goodjob:

I'm not sure what PDF is, but that's too bad, as I've been slowly incorporating his (civ-scale) unit packs into my personal mod.

These giants would look silly going up against the tiny Spanish, Arabs, and Egyptians (to name a few). :P

Ozzie if you have Civ3FlcEdit you can open each animation and change the civilization default color to a color not used in the pallette then save the flc.

But he will re-do his Spanish, Arab, etc units to PDM scale...

Hi BadKharma,

Sadly I can't get any of the usual tools of the trade to work under !@#%!! Vista (I'm actually viewing .flcs with Quicktime!).

*sigh*,

Ozzy pm me your e-mail and a list of which ones you want done I'll send them out to you.

So he should double his efforts so you don`t have to???

No, that's not what I'm suggesting at all. I'm just curious as to why change the entire look of the civ-scale units for ones that look like the duplo equivalent of legos, when, for all these years, the norm has been civ-scale.

I like the units and all, but it seems the only way to get everything to look in synch is all Sandris or no Sandris, if it has to be paper doll sized. ::shrugs::

The Sandris Paperdoll is Civ-scale. His "civscale" is smaller than Civ-scale. And for years there was no norm, compare Kinboat`s Legionary and Cuchulain (sp?) for instance. Or the various M3 units.

And making it all Sandris shouldn`t really be a problem, because the man is making everything, isn`t he now?

I think you are confusing these images
