thought you were going to attack silchester
And face odds like 7 v. 11? No dice.

Anyway, this turn you'll be attacking Durham, as will erez, because warman is kicking erez's behind, and erez's best hope of escape for the moment is into my lands. I'm going to attack Camelot and you're going to reinforce it from Middlesex. You'll leave some troops in Silchester, because otherwise I could attack it from Salisbury. The remaining game will be between you, warman and probably disenfrancised.

So my strategy will be to reinforce Durham and attack Silchester from Salisbury, ignoring Camelot, and letting warman guard my northern border.

But I thought you thought I was going to attack salisbury and if you attack silchester it would leave middlesex open and i'd have to pull back

Orders sent! My soldiers are ready to face their destiny!

Anyway. Sending orders now. emu, since you've also sent orders, (you shouldn't say things like "better strategy than I had!", it reveals your strategy ;)) now it's time for the overanalyzing and possible mistakes.

I left a small defence in Durham, brought up backline troops to Salisbury, and attacked Camelot with a large force and Silchester with a small force in case you left it undefended when attacking. If you attacked Durham, you'll probably be fighting me *and* erez for it. If you attacked Salisbury, there'll be a battle on the way. If you win that, your winners will face more troops. If I win that (unlikely), I doubt you'll have troops left in Silchester. If you reinforced Camelot, I pretty much get pwned, because I predicted that you'd leave it empty like last turn, which I think you have done. Reason: I don't think you'd have thought of reinforcing Camelot, because even if I take it, that drains me of troops and Camelot is surrounded if you had taken Salisbury, which is the only place I can attack Camelot from.

Well, anyway, that's this in order, orders for Hqnes sent, gotta go to university, will be busy for a while, probably an update when I return. I wonder how it went, but I'll assume the worst, which is that I lost because erez backstabbed me early on. Well, at least it'll give me time to join a new NES or run my own better.

:) !

Why are you rambling so much?

come on all of you, send your orders, i have a few, but most of you aint sent em yet. get your butts moving.

so i still need erez's and disenfrancised's orders. hopefully i get their orders and update will be tomorow.

got disenfrancized's order, so erez, you're last one left now... update tomorow morning regardless of if i have your orders or not, but i'd prefer that you send them so i can do update earlier.

Update 7
Taken without a fight: Uxworth, Cambridge, Stoke, Warwick, Sloucester, Camelot (after border fight), Durham (after side border fight)

Battles:
Salisbury/Camelot Border - 2 reds vs 1 gray. Boths sides lose 1 army, the red army goes on to Camelot.
Salisbury/Silchester Border - 8 reds vs 11 gray. massive border clash, even though Emu's forces had numbers advantage, the casualties were exactly the same on both sides (4,2,2 for rounds 1,2,3). 3 gray armies continue on to salisbury.
Durham/Silchester Border - 5 reds vs 2 gray. wow, this is a very lobsided battle. first round the red forces just sit there and get shot at, seems they'd just crossed a foggy forest and all their gunpowder was soaked. the grays kill 2 red armies. second round 3vs2, the reds finaly fight back, and kill a gray army, but the grays kill another 2 red armies. round 3 is a one on one, that ends when all on the battlefield are dead.
Salisbury - Having broken through the border, 3 of Emu's armies attack, and find 3 defenders waiting for them. The defenders, having just sent of 8 armies of friends off in that direction did not expect an attack from there, and are taken by surprise, all dying in the first attack, they do manage to take out one attacker.
Stafford - 3 of Warmans armies attack and find 4 defenders waiting for them. after 2 rounds of fighting, only 1 of erez's armies is left intact.
Buxton - 5 attackers (coming from 2 directions) find 4 defenders here. First round sees 3 defenders bite the dust, and only 1 attacker dies. second round is a clean up...
Lancaster - 3 attackers find the 2 defenders they were told to expect. The first round, the only casualty is one of the attackers... and the defenders are hopefull... but the second round it all falls apart as the defenders are completely destroyed, killing only one more attacker.
Norfolk - Tossi and ThomAnder seem to be bent on killing eachother, and only eachother... 3vs3 here... first round, both sides lose 2 armies... second round, both lose their last army.
Towchester - 5 of ThomAnder's attackers find 4 of Tossi's armies defending. after round one, this battle becomes a 2vs2. after round 2, its a 1vs1. the third round, Tossi's last defender wins and survives.

Failed a 5v2 battle? :cringe:

warman vs. emu, like I predicted. And of course, erez does stupid things, lies several times, and kills himself for it, annoying me a good deal on the way.

"But for all his power he couldn't foresee his own demise."

wow looks like I got damn lucky in durham/silchester

Edit: Erez didnt lie, he stuck to his word

edit: moved to update post.

If you want to deny reality, fine. Ignore the multiple times across several updates that erez said he'd sign peace at so-and-so borders and then attacked me anyway.
Thus resulting in his own destruction because he couldn't handle the front against warman.

Also, you got lucky in silchester in the sense that if you had left some of your troops behind, you would probably have lost it.

Well I actually meant he kept his word to me...
