We also would like to enquire about the purchase/lease of a naval base from you, in Gibraltar. This would enable us to send naval forces to the Med. Sea to prevent aggression by France and Sardinia.

Sea Fleet is close at hand to rescue Your Holiness should the worst ever happen, and to deliver troops, supplies and artillery support to prevent it.

Leave Tuscany alone, they are entitled to their independence. We will not act now, apart from sending humanitarian aid to the Tuscans, but be warned that should you invade any other nation in Italy(including Spain or myself), you will be crushed.

All my cavalry, artillery and two thirds of my army are to remain in mainland Britain. The other third of my army is stationed in Ireland.

2/5s of you are to become the North Sea Fleet, and take up positions in the North and Norwegians Seas. Your mission is to defend the Britain from invasion, prevent piracy and keep order.
2/5s of you are to become the Home Fleet, and take up positions in the North Atlantic Ocean(including near Iceland), the Irish Sea and the English Channel. Your mission is to defend the Britain from invasion, prevent piracy and keep order.
The remaining fifth is to become my Med. Sea Fleet, which we are hoping Spain will grant a base in Gibraltar to. Their goal is to prevent the fall of the Papal States(to aid it in anyway needed), to provide supplies to Tuscany, to help our Spanish allies and to prevent French expansion. It is also to maintain order and stamp out piracy.
