Ah fantastic, a British Ricky AAR! I remember the first time I ever played Vicky I picked Britain... of course had I remembered Britain's position in 1836 I probably would have reconsidered- still what fun that was.

I'd be happy to join in on this AAR, so put me where ever you'd want me to be (I wouldn't mind being leader of whoever's in opposition at the start of the game, or failing that first lord of the admiralty; but as I say, anywhere's good)

I presume, given the name 'Victoria' that in this game Britain is actually..... the British Empire, and you have 100% rule over places like Canada and Australia?

Sort of, in the sense that Britain has complete control of wherever has been colonised in Canada and Austrailia, that's most of Canada, but Austrailia is a free for all at the minute IIRC.

The AI automatically grants these countries autonomy on the historic dates, though this remains entirely the choice of the player... thankfully!
