Alright, I followed the directions, except when I go back to the Assets folder after opening up a game there's no new file in there.

OK, try this, and do not change anything except add your civ in the Custom Civ folder:

Hey, I really like the mod, the units are great but I'd prefer a Russian Federation flag it it was possible. I've looked but I can' find one for BtS.
