Well, It's a claymore, it's supposed to be big. And, i've noticed that large weapons show up MUCH better when i shrink the suckers down.

PS: The sword is a claymore and its perfectly in preportion.
Don't mess with the kilt, if your going to have civ colouring at all keep it very basic or you'll kill the whole look of the model/unit.
The belt and maybe the arm band is more than enough.

PS. Are you really going to make this unit? (please make this unit and put this thread to rest, we can only bump it up to 300 posts)

ok, this unit will be made with this model. I messed with changing the kilt colors and it didnt look good. Let me finish my last dwarf (it's almost done) and i'll start on this.

I don't think there ever was a great Irish swords man.
Galloglasses made up the best of the Irish field infantry during the middle ages. Irish armys were mostly made up of spearmen and other crappy low grade weapons.

The Galloglass was a Highland Scotch/Norse import.

Hey, cool! I like the woad alot, leave it on. But don't make it civ-specific, just leave it blue, cause I have the scots as a teal green color and he wouldn't look right with green facepaint. Or any othe color facepaint but blue
