Quick question as google isn't being helpful, any idea why whenever I try to take a screenshot of a game I only get one of my desktop? i've tried holding down alt or ctrl but doens't seem to work. it's like print screen is just refusing to adknowledge that the game is open. It works fine for taking of an internet page, for example.

Dunno why but PRNT SCRN doesn't always work for games, you're better off using an actual screenshot program like either the one built into the game (not all games have one), X-Fire, Steam, or FRAPS.

Yeah, the in-built Steam one is pretty good.

Otherwise I highly recommend puush.

You can also use a program called Fsscreen that is rather old but still functions perfectly.

Print Screen is sometimes blocked by Windows Desktop Effects, like the Aero stuff. If you disable those it will work.

Sid Meier's Pirates!, the new release of it from..2003, I think.

This was such a great game, hours of fun to be had. I could never get a damn British Ship of the Line (that was the 'best' (biggest) ship in that game, right?) to spawn though, no matter how much I pissed them off.
