Not too shabby, I don't think. I didn't join until my team was defending the final stage of hoodoo, either.

I was pretty surprised by how well I did. I actually managed to use ubers effectively, always difficult todo as a soldier, and generally didn't die all that much. I killed most of the sentry guns that were up by simply spamming them from a safe distance, except on the last stage first point where I could shoot it through a window while the sentry gun tried to shoot me but the lower part of the window blocked 100% of the sentry gun's fire. Soldier has become my new favorite class.

Continuing my HoI2 game as Republican Spain, Left-Wing Radical, allied to the USSR.

Considering that this was the situation pretty much since Barbarossa, with me unable to advance over the river at Bordeaux because of Germans defending a forest on the other side...

With the surrender of Vichy territory in Africa to the Italians, myself the British and the Americans made some gains there to expel the fascists. But when Vichy were then forced to give up their French holdings to Germany, my border suddenly became much bigger with the Germans. I advanced modestly but found myself held around Marseilles, and it was only with the crumbling of the Axis that the enemy numbers on my border decreased enough for me to (slowly) make meaningful gains against the still slightly-superior Germans and after a struggle take Paris (I think I might invite Stalin over for a brew). Maybe I can finally get above 3 tech teams now... and hilariously the German capital is Brussels!

Also I can't help but think world history would be yet more different if the Japanese had indeed conquered everything as far as Suez, presumably erecting a Shinto shrine on Temple Mount.

32 destructions how many engies did they have
