This mod would rather worry about important issues than play at lawyers with the fine print on rules for a friendly competition
Methos is right - regardless of whether you consider the information is valuable or not, it's far easier, safer, and less work for everyone to just not post anything relating to your game progress outside of the team thread. Then I don't have to think about whether it's an issue or not. Simple rule, and it shouldn't affect your ability to play the game.
@ Pigswill: I repeat, I like simple rules. If you haven't met everyone yet then you don't meet the spoiler condition. What alternative spoiler condition would you suggest?
@dV: There's no limit on the number of posts per team. Any team member is allowed to post in the spoiler thread once his team has posted its summary. If you look at previous spoilers you will find that they don't include very active discussions, though. Players seem to prefer to keep their discussions within the team threads.
Why would you edit a spoiler post over time? Teams generally draft their main spoiler post in the team thread, and edit it there before copying it to the spoiler thread. Editing public posts over time is usually a bad idea, as there's no notification system for edits, so no one knows you've done it. People don't generally go back and re-read posts just in case they've been updated.
Screenshots are encouraged, as long as they don't divulge information beyond the spoiler point, of value to the other teams.
