Will a GS bulb Fusion, I think the free GE will (but Asoka will get it probably). It seems Asoka can buld the parts much quicker than ourselves, so let him build the engine. In any case, if prioritising research by hiring scientists over production will bring the time for Fusion down (even by a turn) we should do it.

I think in a PA situation whoever puts the most research in a tech gets the free GE. We could try and divert him to Ecology with 1 turn left to get the free GE ourselves (again I'm not sure if this works but think it would) but that risks making it longer to Fusion, which we need to get without any delay. Does Asoka join in our Golden Age? If he doesn't then there is no real reason to enter one as he will be building the bits and getting the free GE might help him out.

Question was if we have one great person and Asoka another can we still start a golden age?? If not, I like the idea of getting him to change research at last minute, it shouldnt holfd us up too much and possibly could get us the GE.

10 more turns:
- Finished fission, finished fussion, and started ecology.
- Used GS to shave 2 turns off of fussion - also let Asoka get the GE because it would add 2 turns for us to finish it off and I was fearful of Catherine getting it first.
- We finished all the thrusters...just 2 pieces left
- I just set us up to do the engine in 14 turns because it doesn't look like Asoka was going to do it...someone else may think differently and let him do it

Great effort from everyone, although I think we easily could have improved by quite a few turns. We'll see where we end up. Surely some team will lose and save us a spoon.
