If you're sending the galley back east, then the worker can board 1t later (the same turn the galley moves toward Sugar and dumps off the settler). Then the next turn, the settler settles, the galley enters Sugar, and the worker can disembark AND start mining on the same turn. Hence, we lose only 1 wkr turn.Yes the galley will be available. I was going to head the galley east after dropping off the goods at sugar. The "gold" settler won't be available until later anyways, and I'm still not convinced we even want to settle it...
Actually, even if the galley goes west, you could still do the same thing, but then the galley has to backtrack east into Sugar before going west.

We absolutely want to settle Gold if we can, imo. As it is, we're undersettled for the long run. Poor Mutineer is definitely right in that regard, I think.

I don't much care for the idea of building our next galley in the east AND sending this galley to the east. Build east, send this one west, or vice versa...So the question is: Where will we build the next galley?
