[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

I haven't done any city MM or whipping yet but it looks like we can finish Liberalism in 1 turn at 80% slider. 83:gold: @ -79:gold:/turn. We fall quite a bit short at 70% so my guess is that if we whip anything we can't get there in one turn.

We have to whip the Forge in Silver. We could probably delay the whip in Clams for 1 turn and not affect anything.

Should I whip the Forge in Silver and see if we can get Liberalism in 1 turn without selling Peter Education? We could also just sell Peter Education for his gold and Slavery 2 turns earlier than we had originally planned.
We can delay the Forge in Clam 1 turn on T153, but we still need +9:food: there.

Caravel in Moscow huh?
I remember the Harbor was over half complete when he switched.

We should try to make it one more turn before trade mission I think.
So trade our map to get enough gold for 100% slider.
We are 30 short?

Don't put Peter into slavery and anarchy just yet.
If he is in Anarchy our one final turn funding ourself won't matter.

OK, let me 2-pop the forge in Silver now, get +9:food: in Clams and see if Liberalism in 1 turn is even possible. If not, our only options are trade mission or 50:gold: from Peter.

Nope. After whipping the forge in Silver, we can't quite make it unless we build Research in Science and delay the NP...

Should we just sell Education to Peter for 50:gold:?

I have to run out for a bit. I could upload and let you guys tinker if you want.

Our map is worth 5:gold:. I had checked that.

To run the slider at 90%, we're 12 gold short (7 short if we sold our map). Kinda makes you wish Kait had pillaged that hamlet instead of me, huh? haha

Uploading so I can run an errand or two.

I"m sure we can squeeze that out. What about whales and cows? or changing Profit to wealth instead of research
Yes, this might work since wealth is the issue at 90% slider. I've uploaded the save already because II have to run.

I'm back from Lowe's. What a racket. They are out of the sample size for their stains so I've had to buy 3 gallons of different colored stains at almost $40/each (the samples are about $5). Does anyone need any Potato Skin, Napa Wine or Simply Cedar stain?

We can get Liberalism in 1 turn if we build Wealth in Cows and Research in Profit and Whales. If we sell our map for 5:gold:, we'll have 88:gold: @ -87:gold:/turn. I'm assuming this is what we want to do, yes?

I think getting 5:gold: from Peter and tapping Cow City should be fine. :)
Cow City gets Sushi T160, so it has the most slack for us to use up for 1 turn.

No matter what else happens, Trade Mission is going to happen next turn.
We've run out of money.

Don't click the "gift" button
I think I did that one time.

Will pray that our northern navy survives the angry Sitting Bull Galley.

Agreed. I think this makes the most sense. I'm ready to advance the turn but I'll wait a few minutes in case anyone else thinks differently.

Shame about Moscow.
Peter has been trolling us for almost 10 turns about the mythical harbor.
It is time to take the 1300:gold:

Sid's Sushi has been incorporated in Silver
We did it!

SB's Trireme is chasing our galley south.

Huhuhu, looks like the Cahokia blockade might be going up again in a few turns.
This is the first civ game in forever I've seen a city starve down so much.

Just have to keep in mind that Tri can sail in ocean if it is inside Sitting Bull's borders.
