SGOTM6 - Xteam

We had lots of discussion about the costs of our UU, which at 50 shields seemed excessive, and was going to cost 800 gold to upgrade from a wwarrior
They were costy to upgrade, but not that costy :p
Sixtine and oracle only doubles the happyness, not the culture (and we already have sixtine, we took it from Iroqouis, and oracle is expired)

Yeah! Just spotted and fixed that. My PC keyboard seems very good at double-keying.

I had a feeling it was only the happiness, but I thought you'd know for sure. We didn't have Sistine at the spoiler point, which is when I looked.

Feel free to offer an alternative expression ;)

Looks good, Alan. :goodjob:

As for Sistine, IIRC, we never discussed if we wanted it. But it will help with happiness as we kill our citizens with culture.

We did mention the possibility of needing to capture TGL to catch up in tech, but that never really became a problem.

The Great Library came under the heading of "too far away to help". By the time we were in a position to take on Carthage we were practically at Education. I seem to recall suggesting we didn't go for Education so that we could capture it and slingshot later, but that seems to have got lost in the rush to trade for Middle Age techs.

I don't think I've posted here in a while...

Well, I have no experience with 100K, so that could be an excuse? I've used Monarchy for this kind of game before (Ank11), but this pop-rushing thing looks hard! (Must get some utilities)

I guess I'm not as fanatical as you...

Anyway, I think we can get some more gold from :hammer: on some rich AIs... just a possibility...

Spoiler looks good.

WLTXCL

We listen to xylophone carrying lemurs

Started playing.. this sure take a bit of work.. will be faster once I get workers in proper stacks thou (took forever to plan where to put workers so I dont waste worker turns :P)

Next step is starting the poprush round in 1010AD :p

managed to add 11 more towns so far (at 186 now), and cpt is up to 331 from 298.

Sounds good, when do you think we'll hit the 1000cpt mark?

I've published our Spoiler, so you are free to go and read the masses of fascinating posts in the Spoiler thread

@Gyathaar: That would be a great leap forward. My model indicates 1000 cpt at 1160 AD, so you'd put us 6 turns early if you achieve that. However, having started to actually see pop rushing in action in Gator01 I might try to improve my model.

Spoiler looks great Alan, thanks for preparing it! :goodjob:

Go Gyaathar, I look forward to reading your turn log, from 298 cpt to 1000 cpt in 10 turns?

I was sure happy to have Gator01 to practice in. :mischief: At least I'm familiar with the basics. Never thought "kulcher" could be so intense!!

Hopefully before the end of my turns..

 That quickly :crazyeye:

It depends on if I decide to rush libraries before settlers.... but I think I may go for the libraries first just so we can start catching up faster.
