Ok, so here's the deal. I'm moving from my house to Madison, Wisconsin for my new job and am deciding whether to leave my broadsword at home(my parent's place) or bring it with me. Its pretty big and heavy but I really like it.

I don't think it'll come in handy during my job, but you never know.

Yes. 10 chars.

how could you possibly live without a broadsword! actually, it might look good mounted over a fireplace or something.

Take it with you, or give it to me.

Ohh... Sounds nice... Here I am, a strong advocate of self defense, and I don't even have a sword. Idiot!

I not saying self defense or anything. Life is just like an RPG game.

My College degree gave me the XP to level up. So I was able to get a career that earns me gold so I can buy items like the new car I bought today(Toyota Corolla). Now I will join a guild and embark on a quest. The broadsword might be needed to slay dragons and such.

Don't buy the potion from Pinkfaerie97, he robbed me blind *shudder*.

And as others have said: Mount it on a wall, close enough to your front door to make mincemeat of thy assailants.

You should definitly bring it angel, I mean, how many times do you wonder to yourself...."If only I had my broadsword with me, I would totally like, pwn every n00b here."

What? Is the new place lacking in decour or something?

Bring it with you. Mount it on the wall, just for awesomeness, plus it'll make a sweet conversation peice at parties.

Haha, thats quite a way to look at life! I should keep that in mind.

Definetly bring the broadsword. And while your at it, get you some shuriken, and a katana. Maybe toss in a little halberd action and you got yourself an arsenal to take out all those level 10 barbarians you'll encounter on your life quest!

Unless, of course, they got fire sticks.

You should take it. There is always a danger of orc squatters in your new house. It might be wise to even multiclass a little into cleric :hmm:

PIC PIC PIC :D

You should buy a No-Dachi btw.
I mean look at the size of this thing:

Start practicing Iaido. Does it require a katana?

highlander samurai swords...... isn't that a contradiction in itself, we Scots aren't very good sword makers?

It's from a tv series called the highlander. I don't know if it airs on British tv or not it or not. But it is about this guy from Scotland who was born in the 15th century and cannot die unless his head is chopped off. There are other people like him and he has to fight them. And during his long life and extensive travels he got a samurai sword and that is his signature weapon. It's an old series from the 80's and they aren't making it anymore.
