Yeah it's funny trying to think up lines. It was all screwed up late at night for me too while I was writing the "Cease bothering us!" diplomacy option. Problem with "network" is it has confusing double meanings when playing networked games. How about:

"We feel threatened by your alliances" (?)

Just a little remark to the German sentences:
"Dein" is second person singular, which means a rather close relationship between the two parties.
Better (as I think) it would be to make use of a more old-fashioned way of adressing the player by using "Ihr/Euer/Eure..."

Last and important too, the German language has quite some letters which are not in the latin set of letters, as 'ä', 'ö', 'ü' (and the capital letters of them).
As far as I remember, those letters would have been to replaced by certain codes to work correctly.
If you think my comments might be helpful, I could try to find out about such codes and update my proposal.

The english is translated from c++ language, so you don't need to follow it exactly.

I switched "A first impression is a lasting one." to "We distrust outsiders." I didn't like the impressions one, because the player never actually makes an impression on the AI. They can't do anything to give a good or bad impression. What the modifier really is the AI's predetermined opinion on other civilizations... hence, "We distrust outsiders."
