This unit based off the LVT-4 is not "packed up" like other land units and sails amphibiously just like its real life counterpart.

Does this mean Germany is in the game? Or can the black/white flag be something else?
Germany probably is in the game, but I think that's just the flag of an Independent People.

Statue of Liberty: Happiness Base. Spawns a set number of Migrant Units, which are Civilian Units that can trigger a Growth Event in Settlements. Increased Resource Capacity in this Settlement. Increased Gold and Production in this City for every Resource assigned to it. Must be built on a Coast tile adjacent to land.
Could this be connected to the immigration mechanic mentioned on a crisis policy card?

Implies Prussia also (whose flag colours are White and Black) EDIT: and Friedrich the Great - the implied leader for Germany - is of that house.

But yes this 100% confirmed a German Civilization. The question is whether it's called Germany or Prussia.

Wow. That's... it, right? Russian Building + this = full roster.

Yep it's the full set: America, Buganda, French Empire, Meiji, Mexico, Mughal, Qing, Prussia, Russia & Siam.

All we're missing are two leaders (technically four - but Catherine and Frederick are soft confirmed), who are most likely to be male.

Especially considering Britain was almost confirmed to not be in the base game with Norman base pathway seeming to be French and USA, then Russia and German are likely the ones finishing the base game Modern roster.
I guess my only question is... what leads to Germany if not Norman? I'm still betting on Norman to France and Germany, with USA coming from Hawaii (plus Shawnee if DLC)

Shawnee presumably leads to US or Mexico, since Tecumseh was playing Mexico in the stream (apparently Maya > Shawnee > Mexico).

Yeah, that is a reason why I think Germany may also not be in and there is another a Modern civ we haven't found out about yet. But chances are still more likely for Russia and Germany, probably.

I'd have guessed black-white means IP, but it fitting the Hohenzollern coat of arms perfectly gives me hope.

Would assume Prussia, especially if a hypothetical 4th age comes it would lead to Germany.

It seems like the modern age stream was played on a 100x50 map. On the minimap, going vertically from city center to city center was 7 pixels for cities separated by a single row of tiles and 14 pixels for cities separated by three rows of tiles, indicating 3.5 pixels per tile in this view. The minimap occupies exactly 350x175 pixels on the screen here.

There are a total of five civs visible, I think, three in the old world, two in the new world. The empires are fairly large, maybe some opponents got taken out, but given that the game supports up to five players in the old world at least, indicating that this isn't the largest size yet, I think there's a bit of hope that our maps won't get smaller again compared to VI or at least not significantly so.

Interesting - that's a little more width than a Civ 6 Large, but a height of a small-to-standard size Civ 6 map. Total tiles would be between a Standard and Large size map in 6.

*Correction* US bomber model is based on the B-24 with a turret slapped on top.
Most variants of the B-24 had a dorsal turret, although it was sometimes removed in the field. Especially by the British operators and for naval patrols.

Free Press policy reduces science. I didn't know research relied on censorship... We've come far from the optimism of Civ 1, lol.
I guess Free Press means giving equal airtime to nutjobs.

Just as long as “Regulated Press” means every time you complete a tech there’s a chance you lose all progress on it (Lysenko style)
