So what does one think of the iPad (not iSlate/iTablet/iWhatever) ?

Hmmm, at 500 bucks, I'm interested. I'll wait for the price to come down, but that's the future of print media.

Its just one big drop hazard

They should make 'em more like the gameboy. I can't count how many times I dropped my GBA downstairs. It still works to this day

And the old NES controllers. Those things were made to be hurled into walls. (several games had that near impossible difficulty rage factor)

Oh yeah, retro games were so hard! Checkpoints? We don't need no stinking checkpoints! If this were an easier game we might give you a code composed of 20 random characters so you can continue from the halfway point, but no, we require you to play the whole game in one sitting without dying. Good luck.

I present this to you as evidence:

GBC was even tougher, lets see
*puked on (twice)
*dropped to bottom of 13ft pool
*Thrown against brick (four time)
*thrown off 2 story building
it finally broke after my sister spent 20 minutes with a hammer on it

And it is true. It's just basically a larger iPhone.

Eh, it's just another expensive toy from Apple. Do they even make actual computers anymore?
