Solver's unofficial BtS 3.17 patch

I miss the strings even when not running mods. How can it be due to mods?
You probably have a mod in your CustomAssets. Clean your CustomAssets, and the string errors should go away. Or do as Solver said, and look at the BUG mod forums for the specific file that needs to be removed (if you used an older BUG version before, because in that case that's the problem).

I have a new mod that contains fixes for history and gameplay information errors that exist in the Civilopedia.

I think that they would be better suited as part of a patch than as a seperate mod.

The mod that i speak of is called "More Accurate Civilopedia". It is actually 2 mods that have recently been combined into 1.

One of the 2 mods was previously released on Civfanatics as "More Historical Civilopedia" It contained corrections of several historical errors in the Civilopedia. All of the corrections have been backed up by at least 3 sources each.

The other mod is a previously unreleased group of corrections to several errors in the strategy articles in the Civilopedia. This mod does not seek to complete incomplete articles unless a article's incompleteness creates a obviously false impression. I have no interest in completing every article as i do not see the point of having the strategy articles(Except for the civilization strategy articles). My goal was to stop things like the Ballista Elephant from being referred to as a melee unit and the Jaguar from being listed as only having a bonus in Jungles. Just obvious mistakes. Nothing more.

I combined both of these into a previously unreleased "More Accurate Civilopedia" mod. I request that you take a look at it and respond with your opinion on its usefulness in your unoffical 3.17 patch.

On another note: I noticed that the modern roads are gone. Is this fixable?

At any rate, version 0.19 is coming up.
I have also received a request for a 50-civ version. Here is the dll file which is tweaked for 50 civs - download version 0.19 and then replace the dll with this one. Well, the ones who wanted this know what to do ;)
Why not just link this in the first post, and keep it updated on par w/ the current version?

Or is there any reason to not include the 50Civ option part into the main Patch?

IE if I just want 18 Civs, Either DLL will work. But if I want 18 CIVs and the option for possible Colonies the main DLL wont work.

Is there some disadvantage I am missing here from just maintaining one DLL that will be compatible for everyone using it?

The 50-civ DLL was a one-off thing I did upon request. I don't really want to maintain both, particularly because changing the number of players requires a full recompile of the DLL, which takes a good amount of time.

Minor fix:

Remove ":espionage: Ratio" from mouseover on other leaders when "No espionage" is turned on.
