I just wanted to announce that I finally got around to uploading these units, I was actually supposed to upload these two weeks ago.

First the Mali Renaissance and Industrial age units,

Mali Industrial Age Unit Pack

The Ethiopian units are mainly based off of these pictures,

and a few of the images from this site, http://www.dbaol.com/armies/army_101b_figure_1.htm

So they are actually pretty accurate.

Also I uploaded a couple of Senegalese Tirailleur units,

and Machinegun.

Finally the last two are a Celtic Foot Knight and a Hospitaller that was requested.

Hospitaller

Both of these units are based off of these images respectively,

Screenshots are in the link as always, post and tell me if something is wrong or general criticisms.

This is a really great pack of units Bakuel.

Could you re-upload your Mali Ancient and Medieval packs from January? They're still missing in the download database.

Thanks Wolfshanze! :)

cybrxkhan I said that I would make infantry and machinegunners not tanks. :p I won't be making any new units for a month or so due to final exams, but the roman infantry will be done one day.

No problem... you may have missed my edited post though... Could you re-upload your Mali Ancient and Medieval packs from January? They're still missing in the download database.

its worth a try.

oh well. good to know that someday, you shall inspire someone to make a Roman Tank, just beause you didn't make one. :P

i eagerly await. :D

I re-uploaded the Mali Ancient and Middle Age units. Unless there is something else somebody needs, I'll wait to re-upload most of my other units this weekend.

Thanks Bakuel... what a guy!

@Wolfshanze I'm just happy to help! :D

Now that I think about it, I hope you aren't buttering me up so you can request explorers, famous great generals and what have you... :hmm:

@Chugginator Thanks! I'm glad you like the Pikeman.

Making the Pikeman's overcoat/robe thingy in blender was my own personal victory. Now I can lay back and feel smug about the unit until I notice all of the faults. I better enjoy it while it lasts. :smug:

No... but I think the Ethiopians could use a great general that looks a lot like Rommel... oh, and a good Mali explorer would probably look something like Davy Crockett... didn't the Malise drive the Leclerc tank and the Ethiopians the AMX-30? Maybe you should make those too! I think both air forces flew the Martin B-10. :groucho:

Well as long as it's accurate I may as well get started on that Martin B-10.... :hammer2:

But seriously, is anyone else making a American Frontiersman/Davy Crockett unit? I was actually planning to make a frontiersman a while back, but never got around to it. (As if I didn't have enough on my to-do-list :cringe:)

Well, I've been campaigning for a Davy Crocket-like Explorer for eons, but as with most of my "requests", I haven't found any takers... not even a good-enough bite to pester anyone to death over it. :dunno:

@Wolfshanze If no else will make Davy Crockett then I'll put it on the to-do list it should be pretty fun to make, though I will have to ask you to give me a 1-2 month leeway before bugging me.;) I'll have more time to make units when the school year ends.

@cybrxkhan I was actually always only planning to make WWII infantry cybrxkhan, I was never going into the modern era with the Romans. Though Zerver did save me from being requested to make those units... :mischief:

@GeoModder :spear: That makes the perfect excuse to not make Roman Tanks.

@avain & mamba I'm glad you like them, I hope they find a place in your mods. :)

@Xenomorph I divided the units up into cultures and eras, more to help organize the database then anything. I mean, it would be pretty silly if the database was full of entries with names like "Some Random Bakuel Units 1" or "A Random Bunch of Bakuel Units with a Variety of Themes and Cultures".etc. Someone may only want the Middle Age Ethiopians and not the Hospitaller for example.
I know it probably gets tedious to download them all when I upload a large number of units at once due to my own laziness. I will fix that by trying to post units as I finish them more often.
