SonIOT I: For All the Marbles

I'm surprised everyone isn't a lot bigger than. I can't take over the whole continent in only like 2 more turns.

I'd rather spend LP on economic expansion, since land won't actually get you anything. All of my peaceful expansion comes from free XP Sone gives out.

From everyone getting in orders and/or RP.

In Fehlrend a king is considered weak if he doesn't expand our borders. King Edgar is the greatest in Motherland (Australia), and most probably the world.

The desert just outside the Marokon settlements was near unbearable. Rather than go deeper into the heart of Darkness, the Euskaldunak expanded East, along the fertile coast, pushing out the lesser tribes. Along with that expansion, a new, highly fertile island was claimed, Sizilia, and another major settlement sprung up. determined to utilize that fertile region. Pirinioak smiled upon the Euskaldunak, his chosen people.

It was during the reign of King Offa of Mercia that the title "King of the Britons" was first used. A message was sent from London to Wartania requesting a moderate trade route with the snapir and another was dispatched to the heathens to the south requesting a Minor trade route between Bilbo and London . Many public works were financed by the government in improving London and its wealth. 40 LP into enhancing London. Some of the other accomplishments often attributed to King Offa was his expansion of british culture into the formerly celtic wilds of Cornwall and Northrumbria. 7 LP into claiming more land

OOC: I have a VERY nasty habit of missing claims even when I do notice them. Don't worry, they'll be there next turn.

The waters of the Bedeinkatu Itsasartea ["Blessed Strait" Strait of Gibraltar] were calm as the Euskaldunak warriors sailed back to their homeland. The leader of this band was charismatic and had decided that the Euskaldunak could not florish under the cowardly hands of the Elder Council. Ever since the day, ages ago, when the Euskaldunak made first contact, the council had fled.

The central authority would no longer hold the Euskaldunak back.

Before the year's end, the elder council was dead.

After years of war, peace (relatively speaking) had come to Nagora. After returning from his massive campaign, Kyroke fell ill, and it appeared that he would die soon. However, on the next morning, his wife came to his hut to find that it was empty! No trace of the former ruler could be found. Word quickly spread that he had be taken up by Nagarta to reign beside him. This silenced the critics who had challenged Kyroke's divinity, and allowed his son, Kagate, to succeed him as ruler of the Hakisho chiefdom. Kagate was less of the warrior than his father, and diverted his attention inwards, to solidifying his domain. Early roads (which were more comparable top dirt trails) were established across the region. In addition, a set of laws was enacted, in order to maintain order and the loyalty of the subjugated tribes.

Meanwhile, great changes were also occurring on Kotana. Due to the prosperity their land had brought them, the Renota gathered together and founded the first city outside of Okasina. The city (named Hirashi) was much more open than the walled fortress that ruled over Tegota. It sat upon the beach, at the spot of the first landing of the Renota tribe in Kotana. With the construction of this city, and the end of the Hakisho conquests, trade began to develop among the Kasanazi.

King David the Holy

David inherited the throne after King Saul died in battle against the Syrians, and had left most of the army destroyed. Despite being a general, he quickly made peace with the Syrians and worked to improve the poor countryside, which was subject to raid by bandits. Colonist under his reign sailed to Cyprus, establishing a large Israeli population there. Also, he bought a strip of land from the people of the north, with small towns springing up, like Antioch. The scientists and wise men worked to improve the buildings and weapons used, to further strength Israel's position in Mesopotamia.
