SonRISKyDiplomacy: Poor Naming, New Idea

Dissolve Nejd, please

Turn 6

You can not build armies/fleets from a supply center you build the same turn. Wasn’t clarified in rules.

You also can not build armies from captured supply centers. This was on the front page, hence it was not allowed.
Also, some number weirdness on the players’ ends this turn. I adjusted the orders to try to fit the spirit of the order, but going over supply limit is not tolerated.

Dutchland and Burgundy are once again checked in Picardy and Belgium.

Poland and Burgundy check in Transylvania.

Braavos and Tibet check in Lower Burma

Build Orders lock Noon Eastern Wednesday. Move Orders lock noon Thursday.

I'll be here (and able to make corrections) for the rest of the day today.

I had not noticed that... ah well, now I know.

Tibet

1 Supply Center : Saint Petersburg
1 Supply Center : Upper Burma
4 Divisions : Tibet

Awww... bugger, I did not send orders in time! :( I had such great plans... Well, I still have time to put them to use...

Also, I wish to point out that I am missing 1 fleet in Andalusia.

Well, build orders if I don't get that fleet...

República Hispana de Andalucía
1 fleet in Andalusia.

Sorry for the confusion, Sonereal. Just to make sure, I should have a division in Romania, right? It seems that you gave me the 1st illegal division that went to Crimea but not the one that went to Romania

Poland-Lithuania
Build 2 divisions in Ukraine

This thing is heating up a bit now :D

Just noticed. Will be fixed after class.

There should be a division in Romania, yes.

Awww, man. You were a great buffer between me and the Dutch. :( Now I'll have to rethink my entire strategy.

About the whole "you can't build on captured Supply Centers"... what's the use for them, then? Does that mean that we are limited to build armies and fleets from the two SCs we have access to?

Taking them prevents the other guy from using them. ;)

In all seriousness, with twenty players, each having the ability to make up to 3 SCs (the starter, and two more through supply tokens), I feared there would be so many SCs on the map, especially in the cramper areas, that the point of the SC (not being able to build armies/fleets anywhere) would've been lost. Plus, the ability to use captured SCs would make steamrolling more common that I would like.

Importantly, each player has two Supply Center tokens for the entire game. Supply Centers are where you can spawn your armies or fleets. Your capital starts as a SC. After you use a SC, you can't unuse it. The only way to get more is through conquest!
...
7.) You can only produce units at the Supply Centers you created.

Explain why these two bolded lines contradict each other, please. The first states that you can get more SCs through conquest, thus implying that you can use it as a point where you can spawn your own SCs, the second states that you can't actually take the SC.

Eh, it is poor wording on my end. The victory condition is that you have to have 51% or more, but you are only able to build three yourself (starting one, later two with your only two supply tokens).
