The rebels retreat to their fort after 3-5.

Of course, Sahara's not crazy enough to attack a fort surrounded by water. Chemical airstrikes are called in.

It is taken without a fight.

Boom, baby. In total, Sahara spends 55 reclaiming 4 provinces.

Alright. With orders locked and the last business tended to, I can begin processing the update.

It's fitting Turn 10 will have so much fun happen on it.

Yes. I like teasing.

I... um... didn't give you my orders. I was kind of waiting for Abyssinia to explode.

Good news, the world has not blown up yet.

===Diplomatic Highlights - Past Year===

-Denmark steams ahead in the arms race, having the largest number of fleets, air forces and ground troops. Danish military quality lags behind, but it is expected the government will soon remedy that.

-Abyssinia briefly became the world's largest economy for several weeks, managing to outdo Denmark by 3 billion dollars, before being utterly destroyed by terrorist attacks.

-Massive military buildups the world over as paranoia grows and security is tightened. The world's freedoms begin to choke in the grip of increasingly-authoritarian regimes

-Nigeria becomes the world's most well-trained, well-paid military

-Blow dealt to Chaos, Inc. when Gibraltar eliminates their base built into the Rock.

-Philanthropy ever more active, destroying scores of arsenals

== Terrorism ==

Spoiler :
Details on terrorists: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=11099789&postcount=911

French Revolutionary Army

The FRA focuses exclusively on Britain, sending 12 agents against them.

3 agents are successful; two are captured and killed. +3 Infamy.

VRF

The VRF, increasingly powerful, aims to destroy Moscow.

4 agents cause bombings and distribute propaganda, and sew general chaos.

None succeed; 2 agents are captured and killed.

Whereas 4 rob the banks, embezzle funds and rig the stock markets.

None succeed, but all escape alive.

They move to undermine the dictatorship of Brazil next.

7 agents blow up infrastructure, as well as inciting revolutionary fervor for a change of government.

1 agent killed; 1 agent successful.

Another does something far worse - they detonate a chemical weapon on a subway carrying Brazilian troops. 8. It doesn't go off. Either way, fear and terror are spread. Detonating T1 weapons having a 0% discovery rate, it's obvious why.

+3 Infamy, overall. The sheer scale of VRF's operations sews terror, regardless of success or not.

Chaos, Inc

Chaos, Inc. launches a heinous assault on Abyssinia with 11 suitcase nukes. A 25% chance of the bombs failing...

Meanwhile, attacks on Petrograd and Abyssinia. None succeed, but none were discovered.

Philanthropy

Philanthropy, now at 15 agents, orders 5 against Poland, 5 against Angola, and 5 against Tibet.

3 T1s are destroyed, all in Tibet.

Countermeasures

Britain searches Kazakhstan.

Brazil searches 501st Legion. BEEP BEEP BEEP! 2 VRF bases found in the 501st Legion. Brazil demands their removal! Failing that, it requests Brazil be allowed in to destroy them. Agents are also keeping an eye on the bases, so it will be confirmed if they are terminated or not.

Abyssinia searches Sahara.

Moscow searches Chandigarh.

===Revolts===

Spoiler :
In light of globe-consuming anarchy, everyone has a 20% chance of a revolt.

How much of your realm will break away is your instability * 5, so instability 20 = every province attempts to break away. By contrast, instability 1(which human players are generally at) will only yield a mere 5% attempting.

Someone tried to incite revolts in Siberia.

3 revolts have been incited in Siberia!

Abyssinia had a revolt! 1 successful.

Jerusalem had a revolt! 9 successful.

Partitionania had a revolt! 3 successful.

Angola had a revolt! 2 successful.

Liberia had a revolt! 2 successful.

Voronezh had a revolt! 6 successful.

Michoacan had a revolt! 1 successful.

Angola gives the Venezualan rebels the same offer we gave the Angolan rebels.

This world... this world is rotting.

Innocents being massacred.

Corruption at every level.

Immorality in the streets.

This cannot, and will not be allowed to continue. The abandoned banner of Righteousness has been picked up. We will not allow evil to carry the day. Let those who believe in justice, those who believe in righteousness, stand up and be counted among the members of the Inquisition.

==Denmark==

The Danish government has smiled with glee today at the prospect of Denmark now being the foremost military power on Earth. With the world having recently passed its one billion person, such eminence is important. The Danish economy is by far the world's strongest, at 5% of global GDP.

Denmark accepts Germany's defensive alliance, and Britain would like one as well. A three-way alliance combining Germany, Denmark and Britain's military prowess would be the ultimate deterrent.

==Abyssinia==

Abyssinia lets the world know that anyone associated with the terrorists will pay the price upon being found out. That is all.

==Brazil==

Brazil, for emphasis, repeats its request that the terrorist scum in 501st be snuffed out. If the 501st is unwilling or unable to do the task, Brazil requests permission to perform the task itself.

Brazil will be dispatching a carrier group to the Gulf in case of the latter.

==USSR==

The USSR is even more uncomfortable with the threat of VRF bases than Brazil, given they're right on the border. It is willing to perform air strikes if allowed to do so.

Wait, the USSR will bomb VRF bases that are in the 501st but not the ones in the USSR?

Because we do have them in the USSR.

The 181st Fighter Wing is to bomb the terrorist bases into submission. Then the land forces of the 501st Legion are to move in and mop up the remains.

We would also like to mention that if even one Brazilian troop sets foot in our borders without permission, there will be a war.
