Spot The Hilarious Irony: Beyonce Edition

Never said I never heard of her ... said I have't seen her videos. I'm old and not a hip-hop or (c)rap music fan ... in fact I find 90%+ of it annoying and nothing more than noise.
Apologies, didn't mean to cause offence.

Background singer? I always thought that Destiny's Child was always just the Beyonce show with those two other chicks. Jay-Z has fallen off a bit though...
I first heard them singing background for one fo Wyclef Jean's songs back in '98.

Amen. That reminds me, I gotta go download some new Outkast...
Yeah, he's definitely above average.

Wait a second, you're telling me there's this music video out there that's really sexual, with no discernable plot? SAY WHAT?!

I'd go with more like 99%. Did someone say hip hop used to be good?! Sorry I must have blinked that microsecond.

what?!!? there are tons of other songs and videos which show or talk about more sexual themes.

even other beyonce songs like check on it. i dont think anybody complained about that.

i think most people who have posted so far are "rock music fans" an such.

i listen to rap and such, but like a wide variety of genres

here is a link to beyonce's videos: if anything i think check on it would be a lot worse and would more likely be considered lewd.

or what about the song promiscous, but there are much more songs that are even more descriptive in sexual themes.

my cousin was watching the music video, i was reading
a book, and she complained about how jarring the dancing was.
[not her exact words.]

Eh, it's better than most hip hop videos. At least the dancing was original (she didn't just shake her bum right at the camera the whole time).

As for the end of the bleak wasteland that is hip hop music, I think Outkast and Gnarls Barkley are its best hopes.

Amen, brother! Me too, except I'm only 22. So far, I only really enjoy Mozart and so on.
