So very, very wrong. I laughed entirely too hard.+2 MP if starting a turn on a hill.

First day of Summer is June 21So, the only thing we have for sure is the deadline for the patch unless they rename it to "winter patch".
Just to clarify, when is the end of spring in the northern hemisphere?
Or how about fun first, game developer dithering second. And OP
Game first, exact replication of history second.
+2 MP if starting a turn on a hill.
Sure, but I am a patient soul.Anyone else still run with combat animations on?
Good news is that by common understanding and for practical purposes (i.e. weather), summer starts on June 1, so less than a month until we get the patch!
Back on topic of course. I wouldn't mind if my bombers flew a little faster. I'm still not ready to do quick combat (no animations), because I like the jet bomber animation, I just wish he flew a little faster. Anyone else still run with combat animations on?

nah, start of summer is closer to July 1.
I also doubt that they're doing much with emergencies this patch, simply because I expect they would have highlighted it, just like they highlighted the expansion of the loyalty system to include religious effects.
For example, you could have a late game "climate change" emergency where players would have a certain number of turns to either delete their factories or replace them with a new solar plant building. If they fail the emergency, random tiles could turn to desert.
I agree. Like how a city be loyal toward other civs just because they have religion? There is only a limited amount of religions so this is somehow easy to be abused by the AI.I wonder if they noted the early critiques into the issues that could arise from attaching loyalty to religion (primarily what about Civs who don't have a religion of their own); and it's the realisation that this will become a big issue that has thrown a sizable spanner in the works?
No. Just no. Whatever else you think about the media take on climate change, it's likely to result in less deserts, not more.
