For me, it's not that she's unappealing, but I haven't played even one game yet as several of the R&F and DLC civs, so I probably won't play as her again until I do (I typically take 1-2 weeks per game, sometimes longer).
And globally, more players have won as her than over half of the vanilla civs, and more than all of the DLC and R&F civs. So I don't think it's so much that she's particularly unappealing, but that a lot of people had already played as her before that achievement was added.
How? If you are afraid to start a new game because of the patch then go offline till the you finish the game then update.

Have not touched France yet as i am hoping for a spy mechanic overhaul first. Spies should be able to be put on guard with one click. And the gossip system is still very unappealing to me. There should have been many sliders in the game to adjust the kind of information you get
It is quite surprising to see that only 4% of all players have finished a deity game.

Well let’s examine it. I can’t get motivated to start a new game I said. That’s due to the excitement of a new patch landing where I can play my home nation in a way whereby I don’t feel as though I’m playing with one hand tied behind my back. I want this patch, I yearn for it. I want it so god damn bad. I want it more than sex. Hell I’d nearly kill for it.
Your suggestion of me going offline would help me and others on this same situation how? So I could start a new game and then when patch drops ignore it and carry on my old game?
Think about it ghost. If you smell-a-la-la what I’m cookin’.

There could very well be a second expansion instead of summer patch. (6-9 months)
Something must have gone very ugly. As the patch could have been released the day after announcement of spring update. Steam has shown a rollback of 3 weeks. Its all speculation as firaxis rarely communicates with us

If they had an expansion planned for the summer, there would already be an app and depot for it. The app and depot for R&F emerged 8 months before it released.
And: they already have an expansion coming out this summer, only for XCOM 2. An app and depot emerged for it right as R&F was releasing. It was the same time as the app and depot appeared for its first expansion WotC the year prior.

I agree with you eagle pursuit. I meant firaxis was working on an expansion, not launching it. Just my poor grammar skills at work here.
Thanx for xcom expansion tip. This is new for me. I enjoyed war of the chosen a lot. It is just a pain to make a choice between long war 2 or war of the Chosen. Its even worse for me then having to choose between civ 5 and 6.
My comment was for posters who complain about their save games being broken by the new patches, not those that are impatient for the patch. I have much empathy for the second, not so much the first as they have an option to avoid their suffering.

Theres a unicode character for the trademark sign: ™. In most fonts it's already superscript. It's (hex-)number is 2122. You can write any unicode character in say Microsoft Office (Word) by typing the number and then hit Alt-C.

They haven't announced it yet. They will probably do so around E3 again. But they definitely have an app and a depot (called XCOM 2: TLE) that they have been testing for the past 3 months or so. Seems a bit excessive for just a "Complete Edition", don't you think?

Completely off topic for Civ6's Spring Patch but... "XCOM 2: TLE" could be "The Last Ethereal" which can be backed up against "Civ6 Gise and Hall" (Civ GH).

For me, it's Galactic Civilzation 3 with the new INTRIGUE expansion.
Been playing it for the last 2-3 weeks... funny thing about GalCiv3 though... great game, having fun playing it, all the ingredients seem to be there, but you know what ? The 'one more turn' feeling just isn't there !!! I can stop a game at any moment, there's no feeling of 'gee, I've GOT to see what's gonna happen next turn'... there must be SOMETHING about CIV6 that's good, because I just can't stop when I'm playing it...

Yep, want to play until I capture that city, but then I want to finish that wonder, oh, and then there's an emergency almost over, I want to use that reward $, and I want to finish a few quests before the era ends, and then it's way too late and I really need to get some sleep...

I think the gossip system was actually a very good idea - better than just getting all that information for nothing as you did in V. But there's so much information that it is overwhelming; and still is even when they removed a few of the least relevant notifications. I think if a few filters were available so people could custom what they were interested in seeing, then it would work for the player as a feature, rather than against them as a barrage of only sometimes interesting facts.
