Our privateer mob attacks every ship passing by. Ah, a pirate's life for me. We also see the British Trading Company attack the Mughals. Wouldn't wan't to be them...
We now get a big stack ready to head over to Europe!
Just no. Just... no.
We meet a few new civs.
To get some more money to keep up our research, we sell our maps and trade our techs for money.
Here is a look at our empire. Also, we see that both the Dutch and the Polish have collapsed.
Our giant privateer stack of doom finally makes it to Europe and begins blockading the Straits of Gibraltar. This puts a big dent in Spanish and Tibetan income. At one point, I think I lost on a 99.1% chance win.
Meanwhile, back at home, our remaining Privateers continue to indiscriminately sink all non-Tamil ships. A world war seems to have also started.
We get to work on Trafalgar Square so our Privateers have even more experience.
We also meet Washington on the turn that America spawns.
Sorry about the late update, the Internet was being faulty this morning.
We get money off of the privateer blockades. I NEEDS MOAR MONEYS!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, I can run a pretty high research rate while losing money and still make up for it from Privateers. Favorite unit in the game, hands down.
Yikes!
We also throw in a tech trade.
Some stupid leaders also try to demand things from me. OH NO, YOU NO BE GETTIN NO TECHS!!!!!
Finally, we finish Trafalgar Square, which gives +5 EXP to naval units built in the city and builds them 50% faster. You know what this means? MOAR POWAAAAA!!!!!!!
Sorry if the update was short and mostly consisted of pictures of Privateers, but those were the only pictures I had Until next time, may you find your favorite unit.
What kind of computer do you have to run smoothly such a gigantic map like this? With all those spawnings and stuff, I suppose it takes a pretty strong computer, ain't I right?
Well, gotta admit that it goes smooth for ya. I can huge play maps, but at some point I get MAF (memory Allocation failure) errors all the time, making the wait between turns useless.
But be careful between hardware and software. You may have XP, but the computer rocks.
We start out by entering the Industrial Era. This gives us the new technology of steel, which lets us build Drydock, which makes our pirates even more OP.
It's also a useful tech to trade to the AI, because they can't really do much with it except for occasionally build Ironworks.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
After building a Jail to get more Espionage, we build a Trading Company for the extra trade routes.
We also have some civic switchsies.
I'll wrap up by showing a picture of our glorious empire.
Don't forget to vote for the story YOU want in my vote thread! Until next time, may you remember to make your civic switchsies when they WON'T kill your stability.
